PATREON VIDEO PLAYER PERFORMANCE UPDATE (Patreon)

Hey guys, Alex here with a quick update about videos hosted here on Patreon.

Obviously, the performance of the video player here on the site hasn’t been up to yours or our standards, and over the past few weeks, we’ve been talking to Patreon about what we can do to make things run smoother. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like they have any current plans to better accommodate content like ours on their platform, so we’re going to be slowly shifting to an external video player with Patreon compatibility instead.

Now this won’t happen overnight, and it’s going to take some time to migrate every last bit of content we’ve released on here for years and years, so in the meantime, Patreon has given us some clarity on how to better encode the content we will continue to upload here for the moment while we settle on a good more powerful option for all in the future, soon to be in flawless full res HD.
