I also suffer from Executive Dysfunction and yeah, it really do be that way. Working or doing chores is nearly impossible, but so is playing a game, watching a movie, talking to friends, or doing anything else. I'll end up doing something meaningless and mind-numbing like organizing files or watching a YouTube documentary about something I don't care about, just 'cause it's the only thing my brain's willing to let me do.
