This game did not come with a DualShock back in the day, I know this because a young sriracha got it for Christmas and was very upset that he couldn’t play his new game.

Whoa this game was unexpected!! This was my first game that ever utilized the analogue sticks on a controller. Trying to steer the boat in this game with both sticks broke my brain as a kid.

Ohh yesss, I used to love this game, even though I have VERY vague memories about it, full of holes. I don't think I even knew the game had a story since I probably had it in english and was too young to understand it. I'm not super in love with the scanlines filter on the game screen but great series anyway.

I'm so excited for this. Ape Escape is one of my favorite games from childhood. After Astrobot, I'm 100% convinced a modern Ape Escape would work and it kills me that we don't have it.

I'm like, 95% certain that this is isn't the original audio for at the very leastthe professor. Also if anyone does care, i bought this when i was a kid and it did come with a dual shock controller. You had to buy it as a combo initially, because analog sticks wasn't really a things yet. :)

I played this in Australia, and I'm immediately freaked out by the North American-ass voices I'm hearing coming out of the characters' mouths. Apparently Sony put out two English dubs for different regions, because I remember this game sounding hella British.
