Lobsters, lobsters, lobsters. So many lobsters.

QOTD 1: From an audience perspective how do you feel about the extraneous noises we have to deal with now?

QOTD 2: If you watched GUTS as a kid and loved it, what did you love about it?

LOL, your advice about people without legs don't follow running advice is amazing lol. It made me laugh so hard, I had to rewind it and watch it again hah. -- speaking as someone who hasn't had legs that worked for around 15 years now lol

1. I can hear the noise, but it's not a big detractor to me. Actually, I really enjoy when we can hear the tapping of Smiity's feet. 2. I watched Guts, but not for the sports. I only put up with the rest of the show to see the agro-crag challenge at the end. 3. Now that we know Alex loves Castlevania and Brett had never played through one, I hope we can get a SBB Castlevania series in the near future!

1. I get a kick outta hearing Smitty wandering in the background.

I love that "reglaar" has stayed. It was one of my favorite random bits from DS3...

MrTheHuman

I definitely don't notice the noise very often but the occasional leaf blower or whatever doesn't bother me. I honestly like when it is addressed because as someone who makes audio content as well I think listeners are understanding of the limitations. But to Brett's point regardless of how big SBB gets I think just having the three of you will always have the same appeal and charm.

Joshua Queen

I don’t care about the noise and I work with audio for a living. Just happy to still have Bear Rose. 👍

Trey Edwards

The only noises that bother me are the ones where you bump or touch a mic. It's pretty rare, but sounds like one of my cats breaking something upstairs.

I loved Guts! it made me feel like I could be one of those kids going through the obstacles. They seemd fun. Also it had a dark, kinda cyberpunk feel to the aesthetic, which I was into.

Tomatoes are quite acidic, it's very normal to get heartburn after eating dishes with tomatoes, SPECIALLY if it's something that has processed tomatoes, tomato sauce as in pizza is a ticket straight to heartburn town for a lot of people, unless you're cooking it yourself (and even then it's still probably not great) and trying to be very mindful of it, it's going to affect you. If you're eating raw tomatoes it should be a bit less likely but they're still far from innocuous.

I don't use headphones to listen, so I never hear almost any extraneous noise, with the exception of smithy's barking. I do dislike the barking, but what am I going to do about it? If it was constant consistent on every episode I might complain but really just 10 seconds every once in a while... who gives a crap.

Zed

I don't mind the noise. It's the reality of your situation. If you guys could fully soundproof Alex's apartment, that would be fantastic, but we don't live in a perfect world. Now, imagine I'm saying all of this while ragtime music is playing in the background. That's why I can't stop watching you guys; can't get this anywhere else.

Arthur Maloney

add to the charm. A huge reason I watch is the banter and discussion between the three of you. The added random noise makes it feel more natural, like its just three friends hanging out together. Its honestly preffered for me.

Jacob Watkins

With the Beard Bros brand now being (slightly tongue-in-cheek) punk rock and anti-establishment, the authentic ambient noise totally adds to the charm. Makes it feel genuine and like it’s just guys hanging out in a living room, rather than a professional studio.

Shawn W.

Current beard bros is the best beard bros hands down. You three make an amazing trio. Every background sound adds to the charm for me.

Jesse Lefler

Smitty is fast becoming the 4th beard bro. The ambient noise is negligible. You guys are just lofi now. I'll take any amount of landscaping or a/c noise over you guys being boxed into chasing the algorithm.

Yamiflorence

I honestly have not noticed the background noises very much. Aside from Smitty, who is a very good dog. XD

Joe Cattoggio

Loved GUTS. One of my first impressions I remember doing as a kid is of Moe reporting the scores of all the teams in her posh British accent.

BagofSeat

I'm pretty sure I have over 300/400 hours in Elden Ring and I've never been able to figure out the sewers. I know there's a hidden room that unlocks a new ending, but, this area, is literally, one of the worst designed areas in all of Fromsoft history. I would take Blightown 100 times over just because I' can figure out where to go next every time I play Elden Ring. I actively replay Elden Ring and ignore this area because of it.

Yargenshlarg

Genuinely the background sounds affirm that y’all are just reglar people like me. It gives me a feeling of relief that all creators haven’t cowtowed to a sense of perfection and a complete disconnection with reality. You guys are the realest keep it up

Spawn256

Watching berserk for the first time was really cool because seeing how far guts had to go and how much he injured made me think that I can do anything if he can do that.

Nathan Norman

Don’t sweat the noises, doesn’t bother me and makes it feel more like we’re just hanging out on the couch chillin with the bros. Much love!

Kurtis Janwich

Q1: Noises are totally fine! Q2: I loved GUTS for the gamesmanship. I just liked watching them play the games and climbing the Aggro Krag. Me and my friends would make our own GUTS games inspired from the show.

You guys sound so clear the noises are nothing to sneeze at. Its kinda funny sometimes

TheNintenDorks

They remade Legends of the hidden temple. It wasn’t great. All the contestants were adults, the ones who didn’t get on the show as kids. Nostalgia for sure just fell short.
