Oh man, it absolutely only took one big go agro someone in Dark Souls. My buddy accidentally attacked Andre the blacksmith and permanently pissed him off so he could no longer upgrade his weapons. And he was nowhere near the second blacksmith yet. I reminded him of the nice man at the top of the church who'll reset everyone and when he got there, he set his controller down, bumping the trigger and agroed HIM too. So his options then were to restart or brute force through the game with almost entirely in upgraded weapons. He just gave up. Editing this to say I would absolutely love a gen 5 nuzlock. Or even just a normal playthrough if you don't want the time commitment. Or hell, get weird and play Colosseum or something.

Pretty sure the emotes work like on PS4 where you hold a button ( X on PS4, probably ∆ for ER) and then move the controller a certain way. Used to screw me up in Bloodborne all the time lol

Do Pokemon Uranium the fan game... you can still find it if you know where to look and since you are just patreon funded you may not have to worry about nintendo demonetizing you, or just do it as a patreon exclusive

You're making random gestures because you have motion control turned on for it. If you happen to be moving the controller when you press triangle (probably Y on xbox controller), you will do an emote corresponding to that motion. You can turn this off under game options in the menu.
