That is a good qwerstion Alex. When I hear “Super Beard Bros” I don’t think of Mario reference at all… Like maaaybe I did when I first heard the name, but that’d be like 10 years ago now (yay, old, woohoo), but y’all are the Beard Bros in my mind

As Alex says, yes catch flame has low range, but it's SO FAST. I don't think Alex has struggled with how painful it is to cast Most magic in this game. I mean there's been like 234 patches since the game came out so I don't know how it is now, but when it came out, it took like a whole second and a half to cast the regular fricking basic star pebble.

Margit is hands down the single boss who took me the most time in elden ring, I think it took me like 2 hours 'till I fully understood all his bullshit. I played DS3 before but I wasn't Really attuned to all the anti intuitive battle mechanics design in elden ring, like how it's coded to instantly dagger you from a distance when you drink a flask unless he's already engaged in another animation, and all the button press reading. Most other bosses I either one shot or took me 3-5 tries. 2nd hardest from me was hmm possibly the margit clone or the knight guy who's on the erd tree in the capital city, those probably took about 10 tries each, just till I got used to the timing on the animations.

Qotd 1: I always assume people are right handed and i never got any lefty vibes. Qotd 2: When I talk about y'all I say Super Beard Bros and I feel like both I think obviously Mario but you're also bros, bro. Also Mergit was a perfect subversion of expectations. Now I can usually handle his business but when I first played expecting a Dark Souls and him with his wind ups got me all fucked up

To Brett's point about the selves imposed limits being just what people naturally do, I just finally beat Milenia with a strength build while refusing to use status effects or great runes for no reason except my ego and the fact I haven't prior to that fight. Wasn't about to start now.

1. if anything I'd think Alex was left handed, but never really think about that stuff. 2. it's both, like a double entendre. however there's a local band that plays at the chicken wing spot by me called The Bearded Brothers Band, so for me you guys are the beard bros and they're the bearded brothers.

For question of the day, Brett feels like someone who is right handed but does all athletic things (Batting, throwing, etc) lefty. Alex feels like he was born right handed but maybe tried to be left handed for a sport of some kind but then eventually lost interest and went back to being just right handed.
