Steve Moore

It must be my birthday ❤️🫡

Nathan

That opening conversation on dark moments in kid shows was solid

Nathan

Also Ted is Bret's kid and he came out all white!

Nathan

I'm a kid not a parent, worst thing my parents let me watch was 1978 Body Snatchers. Fucked me up in a good way lol. Dogs should not have human faces

Daniel Redmond Huggett

i had a conversation with my eldest daughter (4 year old at the time) to make her understand how dangerous going on the road is, i did not sugar coat it i said "if you go on the road cars cant see you and they might hit you and Really hurt you or worse" to which she replied "yeah they could hit me and make me Dead" i was a bit taken back but also glad she got the point so quick Like yeah man your right, so be careful!

I'm from germany and I know nothing about long beach (I heard the name before but wouldn't be able to place it). But then again, my geographical knowledge in general is shit... And I love those singing bats! First time I met them was on some sort of mountain path to an elevator with lots a bats and the sudden singing was soooo cool!

Jamonpanzon

I had a recurring substitute teacher with the last name rosso who ironically looked and acted like roz from monsters inc

Dan Sjöström

Northern Sweden here, today its -10 Celsius and we have 1.5m of snow. I know OF Long Beach, I dont know anything about it.

Netural_id

I'm from Riverside but moved in 2010 to Tulsa. Been to Longbeach a few times.

danny axel

My father showed myself and a group of my preteen friends Blood Sucking Freaks. 90% of us were fine, one kid ran out the room crying.

BeefMonster

Absolutely amazing ending to an episode. 11/10 would Long Beach again.

Ben Wothe

My son was terrified of the bad guy in Big Hero 6. But like a year later I let him watch Jurassic Park because he loves dinosaurs. Didn't even phase. him.

Nelly👹

My dad would mute GTA 3 while he played it in front of me, thinking that the swearing was the issue not the horrific violent acts he was committing.

Joshua Wilkerson

My daughter, 4 at the time, walked into the room while I was watching Terminator 2. It was the Sarah Connor dream sequence. It scared her more than anything i've ever seen.

Oline Goblin

From Denmark and I dont know what long beach is. Btw love this mario playthrough!

Joshua Levine

It's a place in the greater Los Angeles area

Cuan

Christopher Lloyd been driven over by the mechanical roller in Roger Rabbit and turning into a cartoon messed me up as a kid for a while.

Cuan

Alex, the term is nominative determinism

Dustin Gibbons

I have kids and several health issues. Most messed up thing I thought they could handle at a young age is the inevitable coming of death. So we talked with them openly how it is likely for my brain to tell my heart and/or lungs to quit in my sleep and I die. They handled it well and still do. We have a healthy view of death in our house

Dustin Gibbons

Ok when comes to watching and reading stuff my wife and I have let our kids decide for themselves more or less

Matthew Cline

Mom grew up there, but I only visited a couple times. Long Beach has the best Roscoe’s in California.

Brother Michael

The streaming goof green screens were incredible. I woke my roommate up laughing.

Shelby

12/10 ending!

Tyler Valdez

My kids are too young to watch anything too messed up yet. Nightmare before Christmas has been the worst, and my daughter had nightmares the first time she saw it (around 3 years old) but now that she's 6 she thinks its funny more than scary. My son is about to turn 4 and he's seen it without getting scared too. I'm from San Jose but lived in SoCal for a few years. I only ever went to Long Beach for the airport and to take a boat to Catalina.

BagofSeat

I grew up in SoCal so I know a bit about Long Beach, I've had lunch in the area a few times, but, I learned about Long Beach from listening to Sublime when I was a kid.

Tony Dennis

I was in the Livestream for some of this - I knew it was footage for this hahaha

Devan Law

This was great in the beginning I was looking for quality settings on patreon and checking my internet.

Bill Pairaktaridis

I'm not a parent yet but when I was 12, I think, my dad showed us security cam footage of Columbine and that shit still haunts me 25 years later. I don't think he knew what it was, since we're not American, but it was still extremely fucked up.

UnorthoD3X

It was south park and SML for my 10 yr old. I realized he won't understand a lot of it anyway and when he does then he is now old enough for it

perplexpert

The real MVP of this video is iStock video

Bazooka

lmao was checking everywhere for a quality setting wondering why it looked so low rez

Spencer Burton

No kids, but Killer Clowns fucked me UP as a young lad.

TetrisGal

God I'm so glad Ted ran with the came out white/right comment

TetrisGal

Fuck this is an all timer episode guys

TheGoodTimeGamer

Don't have a kid (till July), but I grew up watching Courage the Cowardly Dog and as much as it was a disturbing show, I also turned out all white

Teh Chikon

QOTD 2: I'm from Koreatown, grew up on Wilton pl. I actually saw my first concert and first pair of boobs at the Wiltern when I was 4 or 5, concert was Puddle of Mudd and was ok, boobs were white C-cups and were pretty nice. As far as Long Beach goes I still get it confused with Venice Beach, and the whole "it's still LA but a different city" thing fucks with me, but it's pretty chill. My Mom would take my Sister and I to the Aquarium of the Pacific all the time. QOTD 1: No kids that I know of but my Mom told me about the shower kill from Psycho and that PennyWise's voice came from the bathroom sink when I was like 6 so bathrooms were terrifying for years. P.S. I remember seeing a clip of Logan's Run and being confused that it was Basil Exposition with British Intelligence.

Tyler Cauthen

born in Cali, grew up in Maryland and I know nothing of Long Beach sadly

Ivan T.W.

The best boot-up sound is the Famicom Disc System jingle. It gets me hyped to save the world.
