QOTD: Italian sausage: spicy or sweet?

Comments

Ash

DN_Peyton

Always spicy baby

Monty Velez Jr

Spicy sausage for sure. In a pasta dish or on pizza it’s too good

Dev Dreyer

Spicy sausage for me

SrirachaFlash

QOTD: depends on what I’m making. If it’s lasagna, a pound of both mild and sweet. If I make manicotti, I use a spicy in the sauce, and spaghetti gets mild or sweet depending on what was cheaper that day.

Dustin Gibbons

I don't eat ground meat. From my understanding though the people I know who do eat it like it both sweet and spicy

Joshua Levine

Sleepy.... Agent man!!!! And sweet sausage.

Lexi Harper

I'll eat either gladly, but spicy is my pref.

I don't even know what "italian sausage" is, is that like chorizo? I think it's just a US thing.

Edward Eagerton

One hundo percundo spicy sausage all the way.

Jeff

If I remember correctly the claw mark seal actually scales the incantations off of strength as well instead of just the attack

QOTD: always spicy Italian sausage personally, there's a local place that does Grandpa's Signature Spicy that's got even more heat than typical grocery store brands

Jay Wilkey

QOTD: Spice bois take their spice.

Spencer Burton

Team spicy all the way. Unless it's for soup.

Saurdaux

Growing up, my family would always do both spicy and sweet, in link form. There'd be a little platter of one and a little platter of the other and you put whichever you feel like on your plate.

Saurdaux

That's for spaghetti or ziti. For sausage, peppers, and onions on a hoagie, that's sweet all the way.

Spoodlegoop

Spicy Italian sausage all the way, preferably ground, and mixed into a nice arrabbiata sauce. I love my Italian food with some heat to it.

TheGoodTimeGamer

Sweet for sure, much easier to add in your flavor/slight kick vs taking away from the pre-spiced stuff

Andrew_V

A bit late here, but I actually buy and cook spicy and sweet when I make sausage and peppers. I like having both in the same meal for variety. I do slightly prefer sweet in general though.

perplexpert

QOTD: In the abstract I'd take spicy over mild, but in practice the people I live with/cook for prefer mild, and tbh I can't handle spicy food like I used to so mild is the path of least resistance.

Pirolizard

On the subject of sleeping next to someone and having them tell you to fuck off, my wife recently told her sleep paralysis demon to die. Fun times.

Bazooka

i loves me a spicy sausage

Vijnananath

Coming from a recent-ish immigrant family, when we would make Italian sausage, it was always spicy. My great nana's recipe is amazing.

I love watching other people play because I played this castle and Limgrave completely differently. This just makes me want to play this game and try whole new paths. I come into the killing fields from behind but I also play more as a sneaky boy with a bow and backstabs and kiting bosses as opposed to butt slamming them into oblivion. Both are just as viable. Never let a walkthrough dictate how you should approach this game. They should be used more as references.

Spicy Sausage in a pizza, Sweet in a bolognese.
