September Release: Horn Hair Accessories (Patreon)

Just in time for Spooky Season, our horn hair accessories are here!

These have been one of our most popular items whenever we vend at conventions, markets, and Ren Faires. People love being able to quickly add a little whimsy to their outfit without committing to a full costume.

They work really well glued to alligator hair clips, or you can use the included magnetic versions to attach them magnetically to headbands and swap between styles easily.

This release includes four horn styles:

Curved hornsA classic sweeping fantasy horn shape. These work well either down, up, or our personal favourite, clipped to the sides of baseball caps!

Spiral hornsA tighter curled horn shape. These are definitely the lightest pair and easiest to use with shorter hair. These can also be printed entirely support-free!

Ram hornsChunkier curled horns perfect for tieflings, rams, or satyrs.

Hooked hornsLonger pointed horns that we find best for dragon-inspired costumes.

Hardware and finishing options

Option 1: Alligator hair clips

Print the horns, then glue each horn securely to an alligator hair clip. We recommend using a strong adhesive and allowing it to fully cure before wearing.

Option 2: Magnetic headband

Use the magnet-ready versions with 10x3 mm round magnets to attach the horns to a headband. This allows you to adjust placement, swap horn styles, and remove them more easily for transport or storage.

Always check magnet polarity before gluing magnets in place.

Printing notes

Printer type: FDM

Material: PLA or PETG

Nozzle size: 0.4 mm

Layer height: around 0.2 mm

Walls: 2

Top layers: 4

Bottom layers: 3

Infill: 10 to 20 percent lightning infill (you want these to be as light as possible)

Supports: Recommended for all horns except for spiral. For easy support removal, try using tree-supports with 0.3 mm top Z distance.
