Hello~! About a month ago I made this post doing a recap of the past year, and talking about ways I would get myself on a more productive work schedule : https://www.patreon.com/posts/free-patreon-for-134420501?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=postshare_fan&utm_content=web_shareHere's the things I said I would try, with updates on each of them :

"Waking up earlier. I am typically in bed for 10 hours a day, and while part of this was due to insomnia, that hasn't been an issue for a while now so I'm gonna try cutting back to 8.5 or 9 hours."Since last month I have been sleeping from 1am-9:30am with very little issues, and over the past week I have even gone off my Dayvigo, which feels great and saves money. I then stream development from around 10am to 4 or 5pm, have dinner, then stream again from 7pm to 9 or 10pm, assuming I don't have a meeting or karaoke that day. After that I either spend the evening streaming a game for you guys (whichever wins the polls I do), working out or hanging out with my friends. I have been averaging at least 40 hours of work a week, which feels great.

"Telling you all "Dev streams start at 11 (or even 10 if I can wake up that early) every day!" That way you all can hold me accountable if I am late."I am often 5 to 10 minutes late, but I know if I told people "Streams start at 10:10am", I would then show up at 10:15 or 10:20 most likely, so I will keep the official start time as 10am.

"Going biking every morning like I did last summer to clear my head/put myself in a good mood."Nope, I have barely been biking lately... But I go on a lot of walks in the evenings or night after my work for the day is done.

"Staying on call with you guys while I have dinner, so I don't lose track of time or doom scroll for too long."Instead I have just been telling people "I will be back at 7pm", which give me some alone time to relax while I have dinner, while still keeping me accountable to get back to work in the evening.

"Planning out my todo list for each day BEFORE I go to bed. Often when I wake up and am a zombie, I don't want to think about what to work on, I just want to get to work on something simple/easy to get the day off to a good start."I still haven't been good with this. I typically figure out my todo list for the day in the morning before I stream, which isn't optimal and contributes to me being late to the streams. This is probably the biggest thing I could still improve on.

Overall it has been a big improvement. My biggest problem was starting my streams at 12pm which got the day off to a bad start, and that has been resolved. There's still ways I could improve, but I think they are mainly for other aspects of my life at this point. I didn't lift weights for about 3 weeks while I was figuring out my new schedule for example, but I got back to my normal schedule with that over the past week as well. Also, I noticed my 1 year review got a lot of comments and likes. Would you guys like to see more posts like this? I don't mind writing these, and it might be a good way to keep myself on track.

Thank you for reading, and thank you for the support. None of this would be possible without you guys. I luv u all <3
