I was thinking about it, and from Geoff’s perspective, he knows that this is pretty much all Clara’s doing. He knows what she’s like, he knows his brother. Jacob doesn’t come out during parties, he knows the only way Clara ended up sucking his dick was if Clara made the first move. Geoff just fucked Clara himself, fell asleep, now Clara is gone; obviously she left on her own. Now Jacob is being his honest, adorable, plucky little self, and don’t forget that Geoff was definitely not interested in Clara fucking cat man.
