If you already have the files, here is all the INFO:

The little articulated dragon is print in place, NO supports needed!Versions provided: stl, multicolor 3mf, hollowed craft eye & full eye version, and keychain versions (size 80mm and size 65mm).

Every two weeks a new dragon will be arriving to the Serev3D dragon family, the next one will be the Unicorn Dragon!

ALSO, now we are going provide really awesome and unique dragon eggs matching each little dragon! They look really pretty with gradient PLA or any dual silk PLA as well.

UPDATE: Some members mentioned that the egg was a bit too tight fit and had to use some force first to make the top fit on the bottom, so we decided to make some tiny adjustments, like this it will be a nice and easy fit!:) (the big and small versions are both updated)

The dragon egg for the baby ice elemental dragon is the first one, but we will add more eggs to the rest of the little dragons too:)

Look at these cuties, they look very happy together!:)----------------------------

Painting & post processing Steps:

Materials:

Airbrush and/or paintbrushes.

Acrylic paints: White, light blue, dark blue, and metallic shimmer paints (pearl or ice blue).

Primer: White or light gray.

Sealant: Gloss varnish or clear coat.

Optional: Glitter paint or mica powder for shimmer.

Steps:

Preparation:

Sand the 3D print lightly if needed to remove imperfections.

Apply a white or light gray primer. Let it dry fully.

Base Coat:

Airbrush or hand-paint the entire dragon in a solid, light blue color. This will act as the base layer.

Shading & Gradient:

Use an airbrush or sponge to blend darker blue shades toward the tips of spikes, horns, and tail.

Gradually fade the darker blue into the lighter blue for a natural icy gradient.

Highlighting:

Dry-brush white or pearl paint on raised areas (scales, horns, and spikes) to emphasize the texture.

Add subtle white highlights to the face and horns for a frosty effect.

Optional Frost Texture:

Add glitter paint or lightly dust the dragon with mica powder to mimic frost or ice crystals.

Sealing:

Apply a gloss varnish or clear coat to give the entire model a shiny, icy finish

The eggs are so cool! By chance are the eggs for the other available now? Also I feel like yall should expand on this. I love the dragons! They’re a different art style than most creators. Maybe a Grass/Leaf or Electric type dragon next?

SEREV3d

Thanks a lot, very soon we'll add the matching eggs to the other two Baby Elemental Dragons as well, we'll keep you updated!:) Yes you're right, we love dragons so much, and we really don't want to fall into the habit of making the exact same designs what other people are already creating, it's not always an easy task to do something different but good at the same time, but we will always try our best haha The Grass and Electric Dragons sounds like a super cool idea, we received a request for an Air/Aether Elemental dragon before, so probably after the Unicorn dragon that will be next, but in the meantime we will work on the Grass and Electric types as well, and those will come after, I hope you'll like them:)

These are great! My daughter will be so excited about the egg! Will Buttons get one or is the more mammal? Lol

SEREV3d

Haha great question! We were also brainstorming about this. I think only baby dragons will get eggs, since that makes sense...i don't like how people print adult looking dragons sometimes and they put them into eggs, it just doesn't really fit in my opinion. BUT, we were thinking for the other types and species of dragons (there will be a bunch of hybrid dragons coming too like Buttons the Dragon Cat, and teen dragons too), for those we could make some really pretty dragon nests, which will have a closable dome/lid, with a tiny handle on top, so they can be picked up and transported, also they would make an awesome surprise gift for people receiving them:)

Is there an Egg for the FIRE and EARTH draGons?

SEREV3d

Very soon they will have their own Elemental Eggs, we will announce them in a separate post!:) Size-wise they still fit into this egg as well, but i think it would be cool if they each have their own egg, matching their own elements:)

Bethmumma1965

I just print the egg and my top wont fit on. Any suggestions I printed 160mm

SEREV3d

Did you print the top and the bottom all at once using the 3mf file, or did you print the two stl separately? Also, let me know if you kept all the recommended settings or if you have changed something. So far the feedbacks from the members who printed the 3mf version had no issues with fitting them together. (and also the stl versions are just the separately exported versions of the 3mf, so they should fit as well) You can always shoot some pics and send it over to us: contactserev3d@gmail.com Like that we could take a look at exactly what might be the issue and help to solve it!:)

Awesome design! Do you have a video on your painting technique?

Myst 3D

Hi! I just printed this and wanted to know what size are the eyes for the smaller size?

SEREV3d

Hi Suzanne, both for the 65mm and 80mm small versions we made the hollowed eyesockets to fit 6mm eyes! Usually you can find it in the filename, where it either says "12mm craft eyes" "8mm craft eyes" or "6mm craft eyes" These are the 3 standard sizes we are usually trying to add for all the dragons, because these sizes are pretty easy to find and buy on Amazon as well! Let me know if you have any other questions:)
