Finally got to listen to this amazing reaction! This is one of my most favorite albums from 2025 overall. Listening to the album shows that she greatly improved her writing and vocal skills as she said that she's been working on her vocal. One thing I love about Doja is that she puts an much effort into making an album. She's not just gonna show up in the studio throw some songs in and call it an album. I'd say she definitely spent some time researching songs from 70' and 80' because the whole album gives the nostalgia and it was inspired by famous vintage figures like Grace Jones, Prince, and Janet Jackson. Also a little more about the album is that its about Doja and her relationship with her ex-boyfriend Joseph Quinn. Yes the one from Stranger Things. Overall this project felt evolved coming from doja, i feel like not everyone will understand and that's okay! (since its underperforming on charts) this was such a solid album from its concept to its musicality for me.
