Thanks for the reaction🫶🏻 Peter Fox is part of Seeed but also has done Solo stuff (and still does). He played a big role in making the german HipHop scene and there are alot of young german Artists where you can here the influence he had. I might recommand you one at some point, that could be fun😄 There is also atleast one more Seeed song that I know you would love (its weirder then this one😂😂) so be prepared to see that in the December recs😉

There is definatly more cultural exchange between European countries then between Europe and the US. There are alot of absolutly iconic Songs that every European could sing along to that you probably never even heared of 😂😂 I think in general Europeans are more open towards music in diffrent languages and from diffrent cultures because we are simply just more exposed to them (for example through Eurovision but also through traveling) while in the US non-english music seem to tend to have a hard time. In germany especially french, spanish and Italien music will find its way into the Radios pretty regulary so I wouldnt be suprised if a good amount of non german speaking Europeans have heared of Seeed or Peter Fox before🤷🏻‍♀️

I went down a crazy rabbit hole after seeing this reaction go up because my partner lived in Germany for a bit when he was in the US Army and is also a huge fan of reggae in general, so he would play Seeed in his car when we started dating. I was SURE I remembered a song that went "bling bling" a lot but he insisted he never played this song and it didn't sound familiar either... Turns out they have another song called "Ding" and that's the one I was remembering 😂 We're really reaching back into the past today.
