Even though season 2 is a short season. There is an insane amount of stuff that happens during it and a lot of stuff that happens that you don’t pick up originally the first time you see it.

So it not technically a spoiler cause it’s just real world science but in past episodes it’s shown that different titans take longer to “sleep” at night due to lack of sunlight remember those titans that hange had captured for experiments.well moonlight is just light from the sun reflecting off the moon so there are some titans that can operate at night with what little light the moons gives off
