I think the whole chronological or release order is a matter of preference. I watched it in release order and understood everything just fine; just as how you can watch the originals, then the prequels and then the sequels and still understand the story line just fine. I suggest you do whatever is easier for you. I was too lazy to follow a strict watchlist just for the sake of chronological order :) In any case, this is where the fun begins!

the clones have a weird new zealandish accent, it's a mockup of a new zealand accent not Australian. The Hutts have had reign over that part of space for over 25,000 years their empire (The Hutt Empire) is as old as the first republic, they aren't just some average gang that managed to control a section of space.

Watch it in chronological order. You'll be very confused in season 3 if you don't. Also, the show grows with its audience. It was originally aimed for like 7-9-year olds when it first aired in 2008 but when season 5 aires in like 2013, those kids became like 12-14 and they put more adult themes in there. It's kind off like the Harry Potter-movies who became more adult in the later movies.

I watched in release order because I didn't know any better....I think in hindsight it's better for this specific show to do the chronological order. I think even the official Star Wars website has a watch order so that says something. The movies though I agree release order makes the most sense since that's how everyone saw them. I didn't watch the animated shows till the pandemic but as others say I was surprised by how many adult themes they have (both Clone Wars and Rebels)

Go for chronological order, 100%! Ahsoka is 14 now but in the Ahsoka show is a grown up woman. It's a great journey

I agree. Continue with chronological order too! It’ll make a lot more sense. You are marvelous and you’re doing a good job with the reactions! Keep up the good work!
