The series won't explain Grievous any further. Only his motivation for fighting the war. But Grievous was a kaleesh warlord. His planet was invaded by the Huk who was slavetraders and Grievous became the general and fought them to protect his homeworld. He drove the Huk back to their world and then proceeded to invade the Huk's world. The Huk's was a member of the Republic and the Republic and the Jedi drove of Grievous army, killed his GF and sanctioned his planet which starved them, killing hundreds of thousands. That's why Grievous hates Jedi. He then took some jobs for the intergalactic banking clan, his ship got blown up by Count Dooku and he agreed to becoming a cyborg to enhance his abilities and help him fight the Jedi. And the statues was indeed Grievous in his kaleesh form, before his changes

Jar Jar isn't a mumbling idiot in the show, as he was in Phantom Menace. He's the representative of Naboo and appears in a few diplomatic missions throughout the series. Episode 8 is (what I think) the episode in which he's most annoying and foolish. Otherwise he's a bit clumsy but very clutch. Also, watch who goes with Windu to confront Palpatine in Revenge Of The Sith. You'll see a familiar face.

You powered through what could arguably be the worst episode of the series (08x01), so congrats on that lol Did you know that there were plans for Jar Jar to actually be the Phantom Menace? He was supposed to be the sith lord that put Darth Sidious in power iirc. Glad that didn't happen! It is very intriguing to see how you always get attached to droids, like one appears on the screen and you go "pls don't hurt him :)" any reason for that?

> "I thought this was a kid's show!" Are you kidding? Kids love seeing decapitations. Kids are brutal!
