Pop Talk & Aliens

My son & I have been looking forward to this reaction since we watched the episodes on Tuesday. Now we have an excuse to rewatch 😄 thanks for your reactions Abby.

These three episodes were spectacular. I must say, the pace of the second half of the last episode slowed down, and idk why but I was expecting a bang to end the series... but this is where the brilliance of the writers kicks in. The bang of the season finale happens in Rogue One. Rogue One fits perfectly as Andor season 2 episodes 13, 14 & 15. DON'T misunderstand me, I am not saying the last episode wasn't a banger; it wrapped up many story lines to give that conclusive feeling plus it gave us that super smooth transition to Rogue One. Who else rewatched Rogue One partially or fully right after watching the finale of Andor? Because I know I did 😄 Disney+ even had it ready for me lol. So Abby, if you had to recommend Andor and Rogue One to someone, would you recommend it they watch it in chronological order or release order? Now you know the dilemma many fans face when suggesting it to content creators, specially with star wars shows and movies :D I totally get what you mean with the strong female characters in this show. I think this show perfectly portrays the quintessential strong female character, and we have at least 4 examples from this show alone. I mean we have Leia and Padme as examples from the past even. So it really annoys me when the higher ups from Disney call Star Wars fans misogynistic and all types of colorful words whenever their shows with female leads fail miserably. Like no, it has nothing to do with gender, the characters just straight up suck and whoever wrote them should get replaced. But now they can take a look at Andor and actually see what a real "girl boss" looks like. Semi rant is over. But in all seriousness, the character development in this show was just chefs-kiss. So are you resuming Clone Wars now or will you do something else first?

i would def recommend them to watch andor first and then rogue one, i think if they did it the other way around it would spoil it lol and yeah i definitely need to rewatch rogue one, just don't have time atm :( whilst i do think they definitely are unfortunately a lot of misogynistics in fandom spaces, the terrible writting of the female characters really doesnt help 🙃

I really hope Lucas Film sees how this kind of storytelling is preferred. Too bad Andor didn't get the full story they wanted to tell, but none-the-less, it was exquisite.

You need to watch Arcane. It's got amazing writing and the characters are well developed and 3 dimensional. It's the most impressive art style of any animated show or movie. I hope you find it
