Haha, there's an arc in season 6 that covers interest rates and the banking clan deeper. The Padmé-episodes cover the more interesting parts of the war that's not just fighting. It's around here that the show grows up and starts getting more serious. Also do you remember season 1 episode 8 where they capture Nute Gunray (the one where JarJar takes the Jedi cloak)? Lolo killed Senator Farr cause he sided with the Separatists in the beginning of that episode. That's what she means by saying ''he brought war on my planet''. Palpatine calls Dooku Tyranus for the same reason as he calls Anakin Vader. Dooku's sith name was Darth Tyranus. And Dooku's lightsaber is tilted because Christopher Lee was a fencer and he asked for it. It serves as an extension of your arm and Dooku's lightsaber form is similar to fencing. You'll see that his movements are more elegant and precise. Around this time in the war, Dooku's like the fourth most powerful force-user in the galaxy. He's arguably the best swordsman in the galaxy and was Yoda's apprentice. He's the only one (except Sidious) to be able to keep up with Yoda and Mace Windu in a duel (even though Plo Koon according to some media beat Yoda in a sparring-session). Also, for upcoming reactions, I'd recommend to watch the episodes three by three until Season 4 episode 7. Season 4 episode 7,8,9 and 10 is one arc (imo top 3 in the whole series) and serves best in a single seating.

@1:21:45 - hahahah first time I hear anyone calling Savage hot, I was not expecting that :D From my understanding and what I remember, nightsister magic is a part of the dark side of the force. Darth Sidious said it best in Revenge of the Sith: "The dark side of the force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be... unnatural...". So these witches' magic and Darth Maul's survival are some of these unnatural powers/elements that are alluded. So these episodes have been the start of the show exploring the dark side of the force, which I think is cool because up until this point, the light side of the force is mostly what has been explored. Also, I believe episode 14 was the first time since the movies that Maul's survival was revealed, so it was a big deal back then. Darth Tyranus is his sith name, and yes, he is indeed very powerful. Don't worry, we're not even half-way through the show.. there's still plenty of time to explore the things and characters we just learned about and other cool stuff :) I believe we have reached the turning point of this show not being that children-friendly anymore.. it's already a big difference to what we see at the beginning. I hope you enjoy these episodes!

I just love your reactions Abby, especially your Clone Wars reactions. The episodes just get better and better with each episode. Clone Wars is simply one of the best Star Wars series.

Also I wanna mention how good the female characters in Clone Wars are I see you pointing it out as well all ima tell you is it only gets better from here with a lot of characters honestly and also Darth/Lord Tyranus is Dooku’s sith name.

Richard Ramirez

yes!!!! Finally getting into interesting territory.. :D

Richard Ramirez

dont forget Dooku was the padawan of Yoda.. than Darth Sidious.. :D he is one of the best duelist there is.. thats why it was abig deal that Anakin could beat him.. but in the movies it wasn't really showcased on this level.. also about Maul... what did Palpatine say? "The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural" :D

Some of these episodes are like a cartoon blend of the Prequels and Andor. I haven’t seen these in so long. It’s really fun revisiting them through your reactions.
