For me personally, this was the arc that changed my perspective on the clones. Up until this point, I still didn't care about the clones, just thought about them as background characters and NPC's, but this arc showed me that there are individuals behind those helmets; each have their own beliefs, opinions, thoughts, ways of being, etc. If it weren't for this, order 66 wouldn't hit me as hard >:'( Regarding obi wan and padme knowing of anakin's fate... I also wondered for a long time, just like you, if we would ever get to see ahsoka's or the clone's reaction to vader. If you're interested on knowing the answer to that question, I could give you the most spoiler-free answer possible to that question. If not, then all good either way ^^

I mean a yes or no answer would work for me 🙂‍↕️

The answer is yes

Can’t wait for the next few reactions! No there’s not just bald men, there’s bald women too lmao. You can see one standing next to Palpatine in revenge of the sith. Don’t know if you’ve noticed but the clones are using phase 2 armor which is the same one they use in revenge of the sith. And the clone leader killed in the friendly fire was the same one that rescued the little twilek girl in season 1 with Obi Wan. Yes you will see in the future how the clones went from caring and brave soldiers to cold blooded and mindless killers.

I've been looking forward to you watching this arc since you're like the only one I've seen who never got attached to the clones. In season 1 episode 16 when Slick betrayed the Republic and explained that he wanted more for the clones than to blindly follow the Jedi and that he saw his brothers as slaves for the Republic, you simply responded with ''yeah, but that's what you were made for''. I also remember in season 1 episode 3 when Anakin felt remorse for the casualties he had in the Battle against Grievous giant ship, you questioned it and said that the Clones were made for that purpose. In season 1 episode 2 when Master Plo Koon and his clones got stuck in the escape pod and needed to be rescued, a clone said ''we're just clones sir, we're meant to be expendable'' and you said ''yeah but he's not''. I wanted to see if you'd retract and regret your stance on the clones back then, because technically, the clones did take the same stance as Slick did in season 1 episode 16 when you didn't agree with him. And FYI, it's implied that Dogma got court martialed and executed for killing a Jedi, you see him get arrested and we never see him again. 1:11:05 You're like the only one I've seen who question the decision to attack a world that has legally aligned themselves with the Separatists. The Republic slaughtered the local population because they were loyal to Count Dooku now. Should the clones and the Jedi have questioned that aswell? They did the same thing in season 2 when they wanted to destroy the droid fabric on Geonosis. Obi Wan and Anakin ordered the execution of their queen because she didn't want to follow Republic law. Do you remember in season 2 episode 15 and the whole Padmé murder mystery? You remember the senator who they suspected of murder but who actually got murdered in his office? That was the senator of Umbara and Umbara withdrew from the Republic after that. 1:15:20 You remember season 1 episode 20 when the two clones from Obi Wans battalion rescued that little blue alien (twi'lek) girl? Waxer was the bald one of them who insisted on rescuing that little girl. What a way to go out right? 34:53 Well technically it makes no sense for your general to be at the front line. If he gets killed, you've lost your leader. Not all Jedi did lead from the front line. You saw Yoda standing and watching the Battle of Kashyyk in Revenge of the Sith and he's the most powerful of them.

Lets Go more Clone Wars reactions 🔥. I love your reaction videos, Abby, especially the Clone Wars reactions. I'm already looking forward to the next episodes! There are some great arcs coming your way, Abby, that you can look forward to and I'm sure you'll enjoy!

Abby Jane

Damn I don’t remember being that harsh on the clones 😂

Noah

Yeah, when I saw that, I thought you sounded alot like General Krell. I also thought it was interesting cause this episode isn't so much about world-building and plot-progression as some other episodes you've said that you've enjoyed. This is almost solely about character development but it mostly comes through circumstances around battles (which you've said that you don't enjoy). The Republic invaded Umbara because it was located along an important Hyperspace lane to Kashyyk and that route was blocked when Umbara joined the Separatists, but this campaign was quite insignificant in the grand scope of things. This wouldn't tip the outcome of the war. You get some subtle hints at how things work like when Dogma actually got arrested in the end for killing Krell. It explains why the clones were so hesitant to betray him and why Rex was so afraid when he needed to execute him. This arc is acclaimed mostly cause most people got really invested in the clones, and this arc develops the clones and their actual situation in the Republic more than anything. It's quite central for Rex and it sets the ground for his actions in the future episodes, aswell as Fives, Tup and so on. It can be quite hard to remember all the Clones (you seemingly didn't recognize Waxer) but Rex, Fives and Tup is worth remembering going into future seasons. It'll enhance the viewing if you remember Tup being the one who lured Krell into the trap, and Fives as the one who's most vocal about his rights even though he was created artificially. Rex is distinct and quite easy to remember. This show will show the consequences of things, and reference character that did things way back in past seasons, so it's quite important to remember minor details. Like I explained about Deechi (the senator who got murdered in season 2 episode 15) being Umbara's senator and Waxer saving that Twi'Lek girl. So I advice you to try to remember each individual clones action in this arc.
