RIP Satine, this is the saddest one for me

Noah

Maul's cherry on top wasn't to kill Satine to break Obi Wan. He wanted to keep him imprisoned and eventually kill him. The Republic wouldn't have saved Obi Wan. He wasn't that important for the Republic... or maybe Anakin would've been the only one who may have gone out of his way to save him. And Maul's obsession with Obi Wan didn't create his downfall in this arc. Sidious would've arrived anyway, it had nothing to do with Obi Wan. His plan was almost flawless. But if you only watch the show, the next Maul appearance won't make sense. Maul would've appeared in couple of the unfinished episodes that was later adapted into a comic. There's an audio comic on youtube that's quite well made and I recommend you to react too it when you finish season 6 and start season 7. I can't wait for the next two arcs. The next arc won't continue this one but I think you'll be more invested in that than this one. I can assure you that you won't be dissapointed.

1:38:15: Yeah, there's a reason a lot of people think 9/11 was an inside job🤔

To be fair, some declassified documents were released some years ago that detailed some false-flag operations that the U.S.A. had... so we know for sure that it isn't some tinfoil hat conspiracy that governments do this. For the one you mention, whether it was an inside job or not, I think we will never be 100% sure.

I opened the link and saw the duration and was like "oh shit", but I didn't know anyone had made this for the canon story. Thanks, I'll be giving it a watch

This arc was awesome and one of my favorites because it really shows Maul's power and his quest for revenge. The next arc, I believe revolves around the clones on Kamino, and it’s truly fascinating.

I think no one will be mad that you won't post the arc that you skipped, specially because of the hassle it would create for you due to copyright, so no worries :) As much as I dislike the "no attachments" rule that the jedi keep repeating to themselves, I think this arc proves why it is so important and why they need to remind themselves so much. Even though Kenobi had feelings for her, he never allowed that attachment to control him, and so, was able to keep himself on the light. Most people would've allowed their darkness to take over them through their rage, sorrow and revenge. This is usually the downfall of countless jedi that end up going to the dark side. And history repeats itself. Attachments start small, but they snowball into something big if left unchecked. Ahsoka was able to let go of the dude she was interested in, and Kenobi too... Anakin though, we know what happens. You looked so sad when Obi Wan was holding a dying Satine though :'( And this season/arc is what I meant with payoff for the groundwork of previous seasons. Previous seasons established the complex politics of the republic, separatists and neutral systems. We also had the backstory of Satine, deathwatch, criminal organizations like the pirates or the pikes. We knew of Kenobi's and Satine's relationship. We know of Maul's resurgence thanks to Savage, Mother Talzin, and the dark side. I could carry on listing stories and people that elevate the meaning of this and future arcs, but you get the point already. Imagine skipping the earlier seasons and just jumping straight to this arc or season, it would not feel the same. So I really enjoy the continuation this series has, stories always building on top of previously told stories. Well... the next arc is something different than this arc, as in classic clone wars storytelling style :D But I guess we are all looking forward to more of your reactions! And thanks for sharing your thoughts of the arcs at the end of the reactions!

Noah

Yeah but the west won't usually acknowledge these kind off stuff. We know that George Lucas doesn't shy away from these more uncomfortable discussions to the west but I'm not sure if Death Watch's takeover of Mandalore was a commentary on the Middle-East invasions or not? It mirrors it in some ways.

I agree, that was another peak arc 🔥. Especially the last scene of the arc. What I love so much about Clone Wars, among other things, Abby, are the awesome and intense lightsaber duels, and there are still some great ones coming your way.

May I recommend to put a disclaimer on your youtube-reaction that you're aware of the comic. Otherwise people may spoil that comic in your comments. It's one of the arcs that's most beloved of the unfinished ones.
