Those massive kyber crystals is what the empire was mining in the planet of Jedha, where we saw the Death Star do the firing test in Rogue One. My guess is that Saw will try to find out next where this massive kyber crystal came from, and will end up going to Jedha to where we see him next in Rogue One. I doubt we will see more of him this season, it seems like it's already a good set up for his story. Also, I think it was Chirrut that told Jyn Erso (?) that the biggest/strongest stars have hearts of kyber... so I guess there technically are planet-sized kyber crystals out there :D It has become a pet-peeve of mine that in films and shows the big bad guy is always left alive after a quick monologue from the protagonist, like bruh... You sliced through dozens of troopers to essentially tell the big bad guy "I'm better than you" and walk away? I also wonder at which point in time we are at right now. Mon Mothma is already in Javin... so we must be somewhere along episode 10 of Andor S2. Maybe Luthen is still alive at this point in time? The death star's plan is still not known to the rebellion. I wonder if this show will also stop just before Rogue One as well, hmmm. I remember you kinda wanting to get through this series to get to the live action ones :D But it has flown by, only three more reactions left :'( Looking forward to the rest!

This is a good show on rewatch. When you know where it's going, the themes are more obvious. Also, the rest of the season is all finale.

Jaws

The show only gets more peak from here I can't wait :)

The troopers in black are the Death Troopers first introduced in Rouge one and then also in Andor and other Star Wars projects. They usually speak in modulated voices but in this episode they didn’t. The mention of Jedha is also the same planet in Rouge one where the Empire was mining kyber crystals and then destroyed with the first test of the Death Star.

Technically after those first two episodes, you could already start watching The Mandalorian. At least the first season

4x1-2 I saw this at SW Celebration 6 months before it aired. We didn’t get to see part 2! / That captain (Hark) that spoke up against Saxon was voiced by Andrew Kishino, who played Saw Gerrera in Clone Wars Sabine doing a multi decap would’ve been awesome, but that probably wouldn’t have happened under Disney broadcast censoring. Strongly implied at best, like those imperial officers in S1, or when Maul cut 7th Sister in half Yes the material of the armor IS important. That’s their culture, their heritage. To use something else in this case is to cowtow to the enemy. Fascists, space or otherwise, can’t be allowed to weaponize a people’s own culture against them. Not to mention, practicality wise, it would probably take too long. Many mandos surely would be against changing it, and even if they did eventually manage to convince everyone that takes part in the fight to do it, they would need to pull back and take the time to change their armor; and the empire isn’t just gonna wait for them to be ready, they’ll attack asap. Destroying the Duchess asap is the better option “The empire will send everything they have to crush Mandalore.” Sweats in lack of mandos in the original trilogy except for Boba, who’s doing his own thing 4x3-4 Yavin 4 is indeed in Andor and Rogue One, as well as the original movie I was under the impression droids liked oil baths. Chopper really is like a cat. “What will we become?” That echoes a similar question Saw asks in one of the trailers for Rogue One. “What will you become?” It was from an earlier edit, it’s no longer in the movie. Titus was demoted (again) to commander. And then he died. Poor guy couldn’t catch a break. And it was always Ezra’s fault. XD / Jedha. Power and generator technicians. A giant kyber crystal. Krennic. All pieces of the Death Star puzzle Those are Death Troopers. They first appeared in Rogue One, then they started having a few appearances in Rebels, starting with the S3 finale alongside Thrawn Very interesting that Ezra heard the song of the crystal. A force user hears it when they’ve formed a bond with the crystal, which also makes it go from transparent to a permanent color marching the bonded user’s nature. Ezra has a green saber (its origins still not explained) and the giant crystal appeared green. Saw’s co pilot is Edrio “Two Tubes”, twin brother of the more often seen Benthic “Two Tubes” who’s in Rogue One and Andor It’s blink and you’ll miss it, but we do see a larger than usual kyber crystal in Rogue One. Nowhere near this big, like american football size I think / I would say stormtrooers are killed in self defense, in the midst of battle. The superiors who get spared have been defeated and/or disarmed, to kill them then isn’t self defense, it’s execution. And if there’s a system in place to determine if that’s the proper or at least agreed course, then that should be followed instead of just taken right away. •Curiously in those first two mandalore eisodes, quite a few stormtroopers are just getting disarmed and knocked away
