A really Star Studded episode! The new republic officer was played by Anakin’s VA! The guy you said you’d thought you recognized (The bald guy) was Bill Burr, a hugely famous comedian. And Clancy Brown! Yesss Mr.Crabs but more importantly, he was both Savage Opress and Ryder Azadi’s VA Many more but those were my favorite. Can’t wait for next week~

this was considered the high point of the season when it aired, by a whole bunch of folks. myself included. a "bottle episode" is usually another way to save money, since the majority is shot in a single location. however, it can also be a great way to build tension. the last bit of the episode essentially turns mando into a slasher villain. at least, until the reveal at the very end. despite being a middle-aged man, i have no fondness for the star wars universe, so when an episode stands out, that's pretty nice.

It’s ironic that Bill Burr was brought into Star Wars because he previously said he didn’t like Star Wars 😂 I’m pretty sure afterward he changed his tune a bit Xi’an’s lekku (not ears btw) do look a bit different compared to Oola from Return of the Jedi and Aayla Secura in live action. They have a bit more of a raised arch I guess? And they’re positioned a bit more outward. That might be why it looks weird for you. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone dislike her look, or of the few others that appear in the live action shows Mando going slasher villain on the crew is so cool The three x wing pilots at the end are actually episode directors. Dave Filoni (1 and 5), Deborah Chow (3 & 7), and Rick Famuyiwa (2 & 6) It wasn’t fully spelled out but they gave the answer to what happened to the mandalorians. The Great Purge, perpetrated by the Empire. Paz (the big one who was beefing with Mando) said “Our world was shattered by the empire”

Really looking forward to your reaction to the season finale next week, Abby!

Maybe I’m crazy for saying this but the actress that plays the Twi’lek might just have a smaller than normal head 😭 so the head tails look a little disproportionate on her. I think alien’s head tails certainly get better looking in future Star Wars shows Very excited to see your reaction to the finale I love it

To be fair you’ve watched a lot more animated content with a lot more twilek appearances that don’t have the burden of having to attach fake appendages to someone. With animation it can just look natural, so to speak
