And there’s a weird occasional allergy to recasting It was reported she shared a post that implied conservatives in America are treated like Jews in Nazi Germany, “her social media posts denigrating people based on their cultural and religious identities are abhorrent and unacceptable.” She also mocked covid mask mandates, called for churches and businesses to reopen and criticized covid restrictions, supported Trump’s baseless claims of voter fraud, called people in BLM bullies and cowards, and made fun of pronouns which came off as transphobic. She was repeatedly warned by execs against making anymore posts like this, and the one that preceded her firing was apparently just the final straw. It was confirmed she was supposed to be the star of a spinoff show called Rangers of the New Reublic, but that was cancelled after the firing. Instead concepts and ideas would be incorporated into The Mandalorian Addendum: In 2024 she filed a lawsuit for wrongful termination, wanting compensation for Rangers being cancelled and to be recast. In 2025 they reached a settlement and a spokesperson for Disney and Lucasfilm said her realtionship with work colleagues was always kind and respectful and they expected to find opportunities where they could work with her again. As far as I’m aware, that hasn’t happened. So maybe she’ll be brought back

The Luke CGI thing, it could have been done better - there is a fan edit with a better deep fake. If re-cast many have been cheering for Sebastian Stan for post RotJ Luke.

Soo maybe they already told you this before but the Book of Boba isnt literally a book.. :D its just the name like in avatar the last airbender book one water, book two earth etc like you have it in books in real life so just means the story of Boba, really.

How could you not recognize Luke at first glance? The black outfit, the lightsaber design, the green color, the single gloved hand, and the X-Wing should have given it away—after all, we had never seen any other Jedi piloting an X-Wing during that era. Even if it’s been a long time since you saw him, I thought it was things that can’t be forgotten.

This season is really one of the closest a show has ever been to being a true 10/10, at least for me haha. I don't think it's ever explicitly explained, but for us Star Wars nerds it can be interpreted that since Bo Katan was simply handed the dark saber by Sabine rather than won in combat. The Mandalorians then went on to be genocided by the empire under Bo's leadership. So if she got the dark saber just handed to her again she'd be asking for it to go wrong a second time lol. Also, about the Book of Boba Fett title. I always thought they went with that name because each episode of the Mandalorian is called a "chapter" with a title during each intro of an episode. And that trend continues in BOBF :)

It's moments like these where you are reminded of how overpowered force users actually are. Mando struggled with one dark trooper, Luke was slicing through them as if he was having fun. That force crush Luke did to the last dark trooper is what Mace Windu did to Grevious' chest, which is why Grevious has that cough! This came out 6 years ago I think, so CGI has gotten way better by now. When it came out, Luke looked okay, but we were still like... hmm it could be improved. As other commenters have mentioned, there is an edit on YouTube that improves Luke's appearance here. That guy outclassed Disney lol in fact, he impressed so many with the edits that he later got HIRED by Lucasfilm for it! Absolute legend that guy.
