I can't say for sure, but I think people's issues with the series are primarily later on in the season? Obviously, everyone has different opinions, but... I think the back half is generally more criticized than the first half.

Bib Fortuna didn’t get a replacement for the rancor that Luke killed in Return of the Jedi Finally some more hutts in live action! CG but still Black Krrsantan! (the wookiee) He’s a comic character. Him and Boba worked together before. He was forced to leave Kashyyyk and is a disgrace to his people. Became a gladiator and bounty hunter. His knuckles were injected with metal filling, making his punches even stronger. He also fought Obi Wan once while he was hiding on Tatooine Someone needs to watch Goodfellas. The Hutts, these especially, are too poweful in the criminal world to kill without permission. There’d be serious repurcussions on both sides I forgot I already commented about tusken appearance last time. I probably should’ve named the maskless tuskens from Legends. Grave Tuskens That’s Tosche station! Luke mentioned wanting to go there in New Hope to pick up some power converters. And the two patrons focussed on are Fixer and Camie, his friends who were in a deleted scene! The bikers aren’t the same guys that took over the village in Mandalorian. Those were klatooinians, the dog looking guys. These are nikto. I assume you’re talking about the early S1 episode that introduced Cara Dune I wouldn’t say they’re savages at heart. They just developed an aversion to things from the invasive populace “Like a bantha!” 😂 Tusken wrapping was originally just for protection but eventually became a taboo against publicly exposing any part of their body. They never unmask, even in front of each other. The only exceptions are at childbirth, their wedding night, and coming-of-age ceremonies. Nothing about how they clean themselves, but I would assume they do it completey in private. The train sequence is so cool! Correct, it’s the Pykes clone wars! There was a brief live action appearance in the Solo movie. They look a bit different from how they did in clone wars I never expected to get tatooine lore in this show. Or to like the tuskens this much in this way I love Boba’s vision and initiation into the tribe! These Hutts were invented for this show. The fate of the Hutt council from the clone wars was revealed in a comic. They were all basically killed off between Empire and Return of the Jedi, leaving Jabba as the most poweful Hutt. You were also thinking of his son Rotta, he survived when you saw him. Anakin and Ahsoka rescued him. He only very recently popped up again, but I won’t say how 🤫 There’s been some Hutts here and there

Fun fact, Temuera Morrison, the actor who plays Boba Fett is Maori, and when he had to use the tusken "gaffi stick", he realised it handled a lot like the traditional maori weapons he used to practice with, so he brought some of his maori culture into the Tusken way of life. About the episodes, the 2 first were great imo, I loved the immersion among the sand people, but after that... lets say it gets less good for a few episodes, and then it gets great again ^^

It's nice to see this side of the Tuskens! Makes you realize they are more than just "sandpeople" making funny noises. Makes it even more... interesting... to re-watch Anakin slicing through all of them in Episode 2 :D And also learning that Tatooine had an ocean is pretty cool, I wonder what happened. I think long term fans tend to be more critical of the newer Disney shows, compared to newer fans watching all of this in bulk, so I was not surprised to hear many being displeased with this show. Seeing the diversity of creatures on camera in live action I wonder, if you ever got the opportunity to do a cameo, what "species" would you choose to be dressed as? 👀 Droids are also a choice. I think being a wookie would be my choice.

Honestly the only two normal looking species are the ones that are human or twileks, so imma be boring and say one of those 😅
