The hosts of a star wars podcast I listen to like to say Mando is a himbo 😂. I forget if they say it just from S3, but I think they do bring up some other moments from 1 and 2 For some reason I forgot this episode wasn’t entirely Pershing focussed Pershing spoke at the same opera house from Revenge of the Sith! Umate was also in a few episodes of clone wars Pershing was fidgeting with the ear that was injured when Cara shot the imperial who was holding him in the face Might as well tell you now, especially with the fate of The Mandalorian up in the air. We don’t see Pershing anymore after this episode. Some reference books have confirmed his mind was wiped by the mind flayer and he was given emergency medical assitance, Kane was never discovered as responsible so the machine was assumed to have malfunctioned We actually saw that blue water ripple before! In Book of Boba when the Armorer prepared the forge at that space station, so it seems the living waters are a part of beskar forging I saw it positively for Bo to be accepted into the COTW, to have some more mandos with her. But then I saw someone on the bird site say it’s a common cult tactic to shower new members with affection, to be very welcoming. And it’s a conditional affection/acceptance. Something to that effect. 😬 BUT they are still lacking lots of other cult aspects and tactics

It’s always great to see Coruscant again, especially the opera house from Episode III. I hope you haven’t forgotten it.

I think these two episodes did a good job of fleshing out more of how the New Republic works, and what daily life looks like under them. I like the double twist there at the end.. you think, oh she is clearly still pro-Empire, then it's like wait what?! They got me... oh nevermind, she is indeed hiding something. Also, that dude threw away an easy life, but can't blame him for going after his long term goal, which he promised himself when his mother died. Reminds me a bit of Anakin somehow

Damn that’s a shame, I thought this was going to be a subplot or something

I noticed that the proof is the same substance that the armorer uses to make Beskar armor. I theorize that the Mythosaur excretes something from its skin that makes forging Beskar armor possible, perhaps something that makes it extremely durable. It would explain how Beskar came only from the Mandalorians.

I like the idea of the Coruscant episode, but the vibe feels off, I don't know if it's the dialogues but it doesn't feel real, maybe it was the plan, to make it uncomfortable to watch. Basically the new republic wants to get rid of any reminder of the clone wars and the Empire, they are hiding behind regulations to forget the past instead of acknoledging it, it's one of the reason they are destined to fail.
