IMPORTANT UPDATE 7/17: It's come to my attention that the Break Up Through Text Milestone wasn't showing up! So I found a workaround and should be working as promised! Also I've gotten reports that the app wasn't showing up if your sims were Soulmates but weren't in a relationship. I've now added the Soulmate Relationship Bit so your sims can ask out their soulmate via text! Please delete previous version and Install V 2.6!! Sorry for the delay <3

Break Up Over Text mod got a name change I see!

Introducing the Digital Romance Mod ! Initially, this mod was meant to only break your sims up. But who's to say you can't use the same logic to enter a relationship? Thanks to a suggestion by itsmeTroi, I decided to rework the mod to do something different.

So What's New?

There's a new Interaction in Town called "Send Go Steady Text" Sims that are interested in another sim romantically but haven't taken that next step to improve their situation can select the new interaction under the new Digital Romance app.

Sims will at least the FRIENDSHIP Relationship Status for this interaction to show up.

Click on Digital Romance App:

 

 

Then Select the interaction "Send Go Steady Text":

From Here You can select all the sims that meet the criteria : 

And just like that your sims will be in an official relationship! But did I mention there are a few new buffs to go with your sims new romance????

BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE!

This Update isn't JUST for the sims looking for a relationship. I've added a special relationship type for your sims once if they've ended things via text.

 

And as a little extra spice, I've thrown in a custom Digital Break Up Milestone to go with it

Been needing the 'here goes nothing' because that's the look on the sim's face before they ask their date to marry them and you just know they'll say no.

Hi! Thank you for you hard work (more drama in our games, yay!). Sorry but my Sims don't have the milestones when they get dumped by message, I've tried with a married couple and non-married one. I have the required pack tho (Growing Together). As I made a translation, I wanted to take a pic of the milestones to add it to my website. Thank you for advance!

Love love love but will you ever make this NPC autonomous? Like where depending on relationship bar your active sim may receive a text from a npc asking to be in a relationship or even break up???

Hello! I would love to use it but it seems that this mod does not work on my game. When I open the app on the phone it does not show any text, only three dots, the same if I complete the interaction, there is no description for the buffs, I had the same problem with the previous versions. Could it be something related to not using the game in English? I ask because it happened to me with another mod and talking to the modder the problem was that a string for the other languages ​​was missing. Thanks :)

I think it's because you need a translation of the mod to use it in your game. I had the same issue with another mod, and adding a translation fixed it.

Hi! Thanks a lot, I thought so too. Unfortunately I have no idea how to make or even add a translation for a Mod, when it happened with the other one I was talking about, it was the modder who fixed it because the mod itself already had the strings for other languages. I'll see around, maybe there's a tutorial for that. Thanks again :)

Hi there. Are your sims in an official relationship? Or are they attempting to enter a relationship? The App will only show up if your sims meet either criteria.

Oh and make sure you have the latest XML update! It recently updated from the last patch

Hello! I have the last update of this mod and the lastest XML and LotCore but when I click the heart in my phone menu, its just a blank text bubble with dots. I wish I could send the video I took

Will there be a autonomous text. Maybe an NPC will text your active sim about making it official or maybe the NPC wants to break up with your sim if the relationship bar is low?

So as a suggestion, don't you think you should delete every version on your website except for the latest one? Because you do this with a lot of your mods. You have multiple versions of multiple mods on your website and it gets confusing trying to figure out if I have the latest version. If you just leave your latest version, there's no need for confusion and people downloading the wrong one and then getting exception errors. This is just a little suggestion though. ♥
