Yes! I’m so glad you’re watching this, Coby. I’m totally watching when I get home tonight.

I was so in love. With the nurse from this movie. I was like 3 years old when this movie came out. Yeah I don’t think she would have been interested in me. The werewolf transformation scene. One of the best ever.

Another blast from the past! Saw this about 42 years ago, when it was released on VHS home video tape. Looks like I’ll be watching it again…if I’m not too scared! 😉

Coby, it was funny you mentioned Thriller, not sure you know Michael Jackson, loved this movie for it's, yes, 1st ever Academy Award for Best Makeup. MJ called writer/director John Landis, to direct his music video for Thriller, which he did and same Makeup artist also.

Coby, An American Werewolf in Paris is just awful. not worth the time. but you need to see the Universal monster movies. with Lon Chaney Jr. The Wolf Man (1941) Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man (1943) House of Frankenstein (1944) House of Dracula (1945) Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein (1948)

"Dog Soldiers" must be added to your Werewolf list if you've not seen it. "American Werewolf In London" is still the perfect Werewolf movie. The makeup effects are utterly superb throughout of course, but the whole thing cracks along at such a lovely pace it never flags. Also "Carnivorous Lunar Activities" is the best band name which has never been used.

Great reaction, thank you for this one! See You Next Wednesday is a recurring gag in John Landis movies. It was the name of the Porno in this one, but it was also a movie poster or billboard in Schlock (1973), Kentucky Fried Movie (1977), The Blues Brothers (1980), Trading Places (1983), etc. ... John Landis also directed the Music Video "Thriller" and "See You Next Wednesday" are words spoken in that.

I love this one. Don't waste your time with an American Werewolf in Paris. But I highly recommend the classic (1941) Wolf Man with Lon Chaney Jr., and Frankenstein (1931), then The Bride of Frankenstein (1935), and Dracula (1931). All the black-and-white horror classics are great. Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde (1931) was so good that it won an Academy Award for Best Actor, which made it the first film ever to win an Academy Award. And that wasn't even distributed by Universal. The classic horrors is a rabbit hole I would love to see you go down.
