Back to Twin Peaks, and back to whatever happened to Laura Palmer…?!? I just wish I hadn’t left it so long between the episodes! Not anymore though, we’re going to keep going. Also, excuse the floating ghost headphones… haha 👻🎧🖤

TWIN PEAKS S1E2 "Traces to Nowhere" - SERIES REACTION - First Time Watching

Twin Peaks - Season 1, Episode 2: "Traces to Nowhere" Twin Peaks is an American surrealist mystery-horror drama television series created by Mark Frost and David Lynch. It premiered on ABC on April 8, 1990, and ran for two seasons until its cancellation in 1991. The show returned in 2017 for a third season on Showtime. Set in the fictional Pacific Northwest town of Twin Peaks, the series follows an investigation led by FBI special agent Dale Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan) into the murder of local teenager Laura Palmer (Sheryl Lee). The show's narrative draws on the characteristics of detective fiction, but its uncanny tone, supernatural elements, and campy, melodramatic portrayal of eccentric characters also draw from American horror and soap opera tropes. Like much of Lynch's work, it is distinguished by surrealism, distinctive cinematography, and offbeat humor. The musical score was composed by Angelo Badalamenti with Lynch. Better late than never! Lol 😆 😂 🤣 😹

Dave Beth

Glad you still got it going!

With what goes on in the next episode you'll be really wanting to binge. I'll bet by the end of the first season, Kyle MacLachlan's performance in Peaks will make you completely forget how he is in Sex in the City.

Mark Knight

Wow, I like my bacon the same way. 🤣I’ve never seen a man so obsessed with coffee, and cherry pie though. So quirky I love it. When you announced you were going to do this I immediately remembered there was a Log Lady, and immediately thought about your reaction to Goonies🤣. No complaints here if you want to keep going Twin Peaks. I’m loving it.

Andy

Hopefully after season 1 you will want to watch season 2 and the prequal movie "Fire Walk with Me".

Max du Coudray

Love this show and enjoy the reactions. I had such a crush on Sherilyn Fenn back in the day!

Kenny Teeology

One third murder mystery. One third Soap Opera. One third magical surrealism.

Kenny Teeology

The creators on the show actually based Agent Cooper's quirky personality on David Lynch himself, mostly behind Lynch's back 😁

Zooey Deschanel’s mom plays Lauren Flynn Boyle’s mom. Also Rashida Jones’s mom plays the owner of the Double R Diner; Norma Jennings.

Shout out to Coby from the Cedars Sinai ICU! I should be okay but yesterday my heart stopped. Thus my request that you move up Living in Oblivion in your queue. I can verify this with Coby in case she thinks I’m faking it.
