I really liked your reaction to this one, Coby I felt like you would really like this one. Hope you have an awesome week.

Coby, I think you asked during the live chat what they mean by "blood in, blood out". If I'm not mistaken... when a guy joins a gang, the initiation is that all the members beat the crap out of you. and you do the same thing if you want out (and they decide to LET you out). girls get a completely different initiation. I don't speak from experience. just from what I've seen in movies and tv, and what a guy I once knew told me (he'd been a member of a gang when he was growing up).

Oh, BTW. I like that you showed more of Brooklyn Pop. That looks like the coolest place.

So there’s this 80s movie called “The Secret of my Success”. It’s good.🙂

Great reaction, as always. Really enjoy how you get so invested in every movie you watch. I haven’t been to NYC for quite a while but will put your friend’s museum on my list for the next time I’m there. Yes, they are called Ferris wheels is the U.S. I’m guessing that’s what they’re called pretty much everywhere that English is spoken. That was indeed a ‘young Dexter’s dad.’ You have an amazing eye…and ear. It seems it was his second film. Also, great eye with Mercedes Ruehl. When I first saw ‘The Warriors’ in the early 80s, it was the first I’d seen of either of them.

Hi Coby. Just joined your Patreon. Love your YT channel and your reaction to Warriors. Warriors was such a cult movie back in the day. I saw it in the cinema when it was released. It's been on UK TV occasionally. There really wasn't anything else like it. The scene that has always stuck with me is the one on the subway with Mercy and Swan and the group in evening wear going home from their party. Mercy goes to touch her face and Swan stops her. There's not a word spoken but it's one of the most quietly powerful sequences in the whole movie. If (when!!) you watch Warriors again, pay attention to this scene. Swan is telling Mercy something.

If this is what you are into...wow, I overestimated you.

Warriors is a cult classic. My friends and I saw it in theaters on release and loved it. The NY vibe is a big part of it. Great reaction. There is another movie by Martin Scorsese that I have never seen reviewed but has a lot of the NYC vibe. “After Hours” with Griffin Dunn. A dark comedy, was overshadowed atthe box office and missed its moment but Itis really worth considering for a watch.
