Yay, love this film, I was going to write a comment, but I think I'll just do a little happy dance instead 🕺🕺🕺

I didn't expect to see this one here, but I'm so glad you watched it. This was my personal favorite film of last year. Sitting in a dark theater and watching that scene with the different eras of black music and culture washing over you was so unexpected and pure cinema magic.

What I say to the TV when Coby is trying to determine who’s a vampire: “Coby, it’s daylight. They can’t exist in daylight.” 🧛

I was pleasantly surprised you reacted to this, because I had a feeling you’d love it. I really appreciated what you said at the end about music being magical, because I feel like there is this beautiful, spiritual side to music, that feels supernatural, and makes you feel alive. So it really resonated with me.Ive really been blown away the movie choices lately.

Daniel Falley

Oh you already did Sinners. Nice 👍 You should do Hugh Jackmans “The Greatest Showman” next.

I'm not sure how I missed this last month; I had never even heard of this film before. I really enjoyed it, and you should definitely watch *Interview with the Vampire.* Chances are, you've heard of it. I won't name the cast because it features many well-known actors. It does a great job explaining vampire lore. There are some things you might still be confused about regarding vampires—such as sunlight always killing them, staking them through the heart, holy water, and I believe cutting off their head will also work. This film is a good reminder not to turn off movies before the credits finish.
