Coby, I'm looking forward to watching my first experience of this guy who , looking at his picture somehow makes me think of Mr Bean after an unhealthy helping of gummies..... On a sadder note, on my Patreon....this thumbnail has a HUGE, great big play button precisely where Cash's face should be ☹️..... See you tonight ( this morning )

LOLOLOL forward to it. What a cool quirky bizarre movie and loved every minute of it. Tim Burton. Foot alive him. Hope you enjoy.

You should enjoy it. My favorite part was his impatient tour of the Alamo!

I LOVE this movie! Such a bizarre, beautiful magical world! Tim Burton's first movie! I wish Pee Wee and Tim Burton did more than this. When Paul Reubens passed away, even The Alamo posted on their socials with a great tribute to him.

You may have been filled in on the backstory in the replies of the full length, but just in case... Pee-wee was a character Paul developed during his time in the Groundlings. It was definitely aimed at adults. Most of the country got their first taste of the character when HBO aired a performance of his stage show. That led to the movie. Then the movie led to the Saturday morning network show, ostensibly aimed at kids, but there was plenty of subtext for the parents to enjoy.

Here's a link to "The Pee-Wee Herman Show" - live at the Roxy Theater in 1981 - lots more 'adult' humor, lots of Phil Hartman, and lots of zaniness. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbhZZnIRPOI Pee-Wee's appearances on David Lettterman's show in the early 80s also helped immensely in growing his celebrity.
