David Harvey

A film adapted from the Edward Albee play that was a hit on Broadway. It was Mike Nichols first Film. He had to fight the studio to keep it black-and-white. Also he had to fight to keep Elizabeth Taylor in the cast. She gained 30lbs. for the role. The cast is electric. Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor throw thunderbolts at each other. It came in when the era of serious Broadway plays were adapted into serious films was beginning to end.

You missed a line when Nick and Honey are exiting. Nick says to George, "You couldn't have any?". And George, looking at Martha, says "*We* couldn't"..... There never was a son

Holy smokes. I LOVE when actors react to great acting! In fact, that's why I'm subscribed to this channel! And man oh man, THIS reaction sure did not disappoint!!!!!

Robert Thorpe

All four were nominated for Oscar's. Both women won. The men did nit.

Clash of the Titans! Burton was too awesome for his time - able to out-drink and STILL outperform anyone who stepped up. The other Hell raisers fell apart trying to keep up or had to dry out and clean-up to survive (Hopkins) Harris and Reed! Tailor started out all sweet with National Velvet as a teen; became a household name and a family favourite, I think they expected her to go the July Andrews route. Meeting Burton made and broke her in equal measure. George Segal made some fantastic films. The director of this was every bit as good as Hitchcock - it is SO well crafted you are right there wishing you weren't!

Hysterical pregnancy, also known as pseudocyesis or false pregnancy, is a condition where a person believes they are pregnant and exhibits symptoms of pregnancy, but there is no actual fetus present. This phenomenon can be caused by psychological factors, such as a strong desire to be pregnant, and may include symptoms like missed periods, breast tenderness, and abdominal swelling.

that's one about these chat rooms that run consecutively with, the movie or radio programming you end up talking over key points of the film.
