Yes, yes this is from a while ago, but in honor of Memorial Day week (and since this reaction was blocked by the YouTube gods) I thought what better time than now to keep the war reactions coming. This is such a special story of an incredible man, and it’s honor to be able to post it back up in memory of Desmond Doss and all the men and women who have served and made the ultimate sacrifice. 🖤🕊️

As a Brit, we do not typically commemorate Memorial Day...we have Remembrance Sunday in November for that... But I still feel it necessary to thank every single man or woman who has served their country... For every service person who fought for our freedom.. for all those who wore the uniform, for every surviving veteran who undoubtedly still sees, hears and smells the horrors of conflict with each waking moment and each horrific nightmare...but most of all, for every person who died for us, they went to war for their country....knowing they may not return home to their families,... knowing they could become soldiers furthermore....but they went anyway... every one of them a hero.... Today I thank them Today I remember them Today I salute them 🫡

Such a great reaction. I hope you consider reacting to this tragic underrated film "Casualties of War" which is a searing, true-story Vietnam War film that plunges you into the brutal moral fog of combat and the unbreakable (and broken) bonds between soldiers. Raw, unflinching, and masterfully directed by Brian De Palma, with career-defining performances from Michael J. Fox and Sean Penn that hit like a gut punch. If you want a war film that stays with you long after the credits, this is it.
