Well we know I love him. As Harry, as an actor, as a director… and now I get to go back and see his very first time behind the camera! Here we go with Clint Eastwood’s directorial debut. Just like it says on the theatre marquee in Dirty Harry… “Play Misty For Me!” 🖤

This may sound crazy....but despite the masterful Dirty Harry franchise and despite the "Dollars" trilogy amongst all the Westerns that Clint has made, this is my own personal favourite Clint Eastwood film. Really excited to re-visit it with you Coby. Thank you.

My favorite Clint movie will always be Paint Your Wagon for my own reasons... but I'll be watching this along with you!

What a phenomenal actor and director. I hadn't seen this in years. I was getting flashbacks to "I'm not going to be ignored, Dan" from Fatal Attraction, which is another movie like Play Misty for Me that had men second-guessing their choices for years after they saw it. Unforgiven (1992), Million Dollar Baby (2004), and Gran Torino (2008) are my favorite Clint Eastwood movies, but I do love a lot of his early stuff. You might like Absolute Power (1997). A Perfect World (1993) is a great movie that I love, but that's more of a Kevin Costner film; he's also in it.

Certainly has its moments - heavy nostalgia too! "Coogan's Bluff" is more gritty and wild though.

Clint is also one of my favorites of all time actors. Great movie this is. love it, Jessica Walter was great as the crazy woman. I thought Clint did a good job in his first directorial debut. One big edit was bad and a few were a bit strange. Coby glad you finally seen it. More Clint!!!
