NO TIME TO DIE (2021) - Full Watch Along

No Time to Die is a 2021 spy thriller film and the twenty-fifth film in the James Bond series. The sequel to Spectre (2015), it is the fifth and final film to star Daniel Craig as the fictional British MI6 agent James Bond. In the film, Bond has retired from active service in MI6 and is recruited by the CIA to extract a kidnapped scientist carrying deadly DNA-targeting nanobots, leading him to uncover a plot by the bioterrorist Lyutsifer Safin to kill millions of people. The film was directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga from a screenplay he co-wrote with Neal Purvis and Robert Wade and Phoebe Waller-Bridge, based on a story conceived by Purvis, Wade, and Fukunaga. In addition to Craig, Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Christoph Waltz, Ralph Fiennes, and Rory Kinnear reprise their roles from previous films, with Rami Malek, Lashana Lynch, Billy Magnussen, Ana de Armas, David Dencik, and Dali Benssalah appearing in new roles.

Coby....I have loved the speed in which you have journeyed through Daniel Craig's iteration of 007. It was almost as fast as me getting through a 5 movie box set hired from Blockbuster video in one night to avoid any late fees 😀. Can't wait till you head back to Connery, you're gonna LOVE his Bond.

No Time to Die is actually the second time that James Bond has “died”. The first time was in the Ian Fleming book “You Only Live Twice” which is the last book that he completed before his death in 1964. This movie takes a lot of inspiration from the later Fleming novels. The book ends with James Bond’s obituary. However, it is revealed in the novel “The Man with the Golden Gun” turns out that Bond survived the climax of the book which is a giant explosion , but has amnesia and is eventually captured and programmed to kill M. However Bond doesn’t and go out revenge. This book was not polished as much as the other books that Fleming wrote and was published after his death.

Sad to see a Bond film where he dies. I still don’t know where that leaves the franchise. I think Craig is my favorite Bond, not that I don’t love Sean Connery’s tongue in cheek establishment of the character.

God this might be the single worst Bond movie. Hated it.
