I'm really happy to see Oliver get more character development and I'm interested in seeing how he ends up with Lucas. As for this new guy, I think you shouldn't do anything with him since you already have a lot of characters to work with already and as I said, I was already shipping Oliver and Lucas since the Jealousy page

You can actually not just do a love triangle but a serviceable poly relationship. It's nothing to be afraid of trying to portray. You can have Oliver and Lucas get together first, and as i mentioned previously they can be mainly asexual for example to diversify their type of relationship. And both of them can actually start to connect and catch feelings towards Elliot if they take care of him as they learn medicine for example. Oliver can learn how to care for others and increase his empathy, and maybe Lucas can learn how to be more selfish. Maybe Lucas realises he likes multiple people first, and will lead to Oliver realising that he likes Elliot too, not just because he's taking professional care of him. This can lead into basically another family unit in our main cast. Although I'd be careful with not overly inflating the character amount too quickly, after adding Elliot and perhaps a LI for Marcus if there is one, I'd give new arrivals a rest, and see what you can do with your current roster. There's enough to explore there. Maybe Debora and Lucas are unforseen friends because they share a nice interest, And along with Larry are a nice friend group sewing something nice. Maybe Elliott finds a empathy and deep understanding in both Richie and Monti. Maybe Ron joins her soon to be uncles in learning medicine from Markus, but doesn't stay in it like they do. Options options, you only have to decide who you want to interact and you can find a way

Well, I think Oliver should interact with them more and see where that leads to. I think his interactions with them can help him understand more about himself and see who he really loves. I wonder if Lucas feels the same for Oliver or maybe Lucas is Asexual? If Lucas does not feel the same, maybe Oliver should move on, but that is just my opinion. Do what you think is best, I love your story and characters.
