"Plant" is the time to ease our breath, senses, and body for training. "Water" is the time to lubricate our body with LMA walking and apply ease to our movements. "Nurture" is a time for mobility, movement diversity, and somatic movement therapy. This is all to prepare us for "growth." You can also think of plant, water, nurture, and even growth as stages of a warm-up.

Many practitioners, myself included, come to LMA with injuries—whether physical or emotional. These injuries can hinder our physical ability and confidence to move. Nurturing our mind and body for movement means connecting to the first-person experience of moving (somatic movement therapy), freely moving our joints (mobility), and exploring our diverse movement options (movement diversity).

To access the rest of this module and contribute to the sustainability of this project as my family and I navigate some recent health and financial challenges, consider upgrading your membership. If you've been putting it off, now would be a great time to sign up. Find other ways to support us here. – Sam
