Movement is Wayfinding; it is the act of navigating space. Just as we did with staggered sapling stance with arm extension, we are walking to face a new direction—not pivoting in place. We take up space rather than shrink from it. We don't stay put. We don't remain stationary. We move forward. We move across the map. We reclaim space. We explore the environment and all its nooks and crannies—not just ourselves.

As we face a new direction, we side swing. Like a seesaw, as the trunk moves down, the arms and leg rise. We are moving in space while traveling through space. We are three-dimensional—rising and falling, shifting side to side, while constantly traveling north, south, east, or west.

We are no longer flat. No longer two-dimensional. We are physical. We exist. We occupy. We move.

By engaging with these foundational modules, your movement practice will deepen and become more gratifying.
