(Preview) Scaffolds: Building with LMA (Patreon)
Content
When you think of building a house, you might picture a concrete foundation first—solid, fixed, permanent. That's how most conventional martial arts programs operate: they claim to build your foundation for you. They already have your blueprint, they tell you what your "basics" are, they pour the cement, and then they stack the floors for you, and you get very little say despite this being your house. You're also forever building your house as if it's something universal and unshakable.
But here's the thing: in a real earthquake, that kind of rigidity crumbles. A foundation built for one condition will fail in another. If it can't move with the earth, it breaks. This is why modern buildings are built with flexible foundations.
Liberation Martial Arts isn't about forever building a rigid house; you make a flexible house and spend the rest of your time living in it. Rather than a rigid foundation, we offer you scaffolding. And that difference changes everything.
