The Missing BIPOC Context (Patreon)

Listen to this Palestinian TikToker respond to a commenter bringing up the lack of LGBTQ+ rights in Gaza.
He provides the necessary context in understanding Western expectations for social development in colonized countries or countries under attack by US imperialism.
How can you develop when you have a boot on your neck?
Imagine constantly being slapped and then being asked by your attacker why you're constantly flinching. This is why BIPOC are much more sympathetic to countries oppressed by US imperialism and why too many white people, including liberals and some Leftists, can't fathom this position. Instead, constantly saying, "Just because they're anti-US doesn't mean they're good." Would you please shut the fuck up? We know that, but we also understand a context white people either won't or refuse to understand because that's their white power. Believing there is nothing they could be missing is itself a power BIPOC do not have. Otherwise, we would not be able to navigate nor survive in the white imperial core.
It's like understanding uncle is abusive when drunk but still not wanting the police to arrest him because you understand WHY uncle got this way. If this is a bottom-up movement, stop making the top (read: white power) framework the default and actually allow the bottom (read: BIPOC) to explain things without attacking them for having "authoritarian" politics. Just listen.
