This is going to be different from the typical fight picks you're used to seeing. Rather than picking every fight, I just give you the picks I feel strongly about.

UFC 270 | 1.22.2022

Men's heavyweight championship: Cyril Gane (ic) beats Francis Ngannou (c)

I think Gane is coming into this fight with so much confidence, size, and a tricky style that will beat hard for Ngannou to deal with. I don't think Gane will let Ngannou bully him, and I'm going out on a limb to say I think Gane can take his power.

Men's flyweight championship: Brandon Moreno (c) beats Deiveson Figueiredo

Figueiredo is training with Henry Cejudo and crew for this camp but how much can one camp change? I think Moreno's volume, pace, toughness, confidence, and cardio will be too much over five rounds.

Men's featherweight: Ilia Topuria beats Charles Jourdain

Jourdain is coming in as a late replacement, and it's going to be a really tough task to beat unbeaten Topuria on a few day's notice. Look for Topuria to throw body shots.

Men's middleweight: Rodolfo Viera beats Wellington Turman

This is a perfect fight for Viera, someone he can take down and finish with strikes.
