Look at Us Post 43: Good Morning! (Patreon)

Gooooood morning, good morning, good morning, good afternoon! Hello! Well, we missed showing you stuff all last month. So many projects popped up in February, March and April. There was the Edward Scissorhands comic for IDW, of which we are still coloring issues, then there came the big Invader ZIM comic announcement from Oni Press. So it’s been color, color COULR here and many of our personal projects have suffered for it. Not to fear however, we should have a two month break on ZIM, which will leave us some time for our Trinkkits story and other personal projects. We owe two drawings each to those of you who Patreon at that level, and I owe at least 4 monster sounds for you as well. Expect to be receiving these within the next two weeks.Also, Once we get the time, I plan on experimenting with the color on the Trinkkits of the Sad Circus by the Sea. I haven’t been fully happy with the digital paint and color on the comic and I’m considering watercoloring the backgrounds and leaving the characters as digitally cel shaded. That is how the front cover was created (http://www.tavicat.com/trinkkits-sad-circus-1) and I think that’s a stronger approach.
