Hello! This is Rikki! It’s been a very long time since I’ve posted here. Usually Tavisha updates the Patreon, however sometime around mid-March to May, we’ll be making some changes here that should make it easier for me to contribute. The main change that will coming will be is categories. We’re going to create a separate category for each of or story worlds: our cat webcomic @Tavicat, our manga series ShutterBox, updates for the Reality Check! graphic novel, new Ranklechick strips, my Rhumbaghost strips, our long-time-work-in-progress graphic novel The Sad Circus by the Sea, my novel and narrative podcast Absinthium Kingdom, my novel Hitherto a Lion, and finally, a tabletop RPG system called Folly Box that I’ve been designing to allow you to play in our worlds.

Personally, there are so many ideas that I’ve had that have slowly been trickling out from my head, that it’s a little like a bit-torrent download - all these little projects downloading from my brain at the same time, piece-by-piece, byte-by-byte - sometimes I go silent because I’m concentrating on a single world for a while, and other times I feel confident enough to release what there is - all of it literally decades in the making. Finally, I feel like we’re able to start sharing some of it.

I’m especially excited about Absinthium Kingdom and Folly Box. Absinthium Kingdom is a very personal world for me, and you can check out some of the first few chapters in narrative podcast form over at our Tavicat.com site. Folly Box, on the other hand, will sort of act as the connective tissue that allows us to share the the worlds that our characters live in via improvisational adventures of the sort that only a TTRPG can offer.

We’ll also be changing the pricing on Patreon, making it easier to browse everything and reducing the number of projects behind paywalls.

It’s exciting and a little embarrassing to be able to share the ideas that live in our heads, but then I figure if I'm we’re embarrassed by what people see us create then we’re probably doing it wrong anyway.

Thanks for sticking with us!

-Rikki

I'm super excited to find out what happens next in Absinthium Kingdom. That has been one of my favourite listens.
