It happened so fast. One day, I was just like everyone else, and the next, I was towering over them, reaching heights I never thought possible. Now, I stand as tall as a building, my head brushing past rooftops, and the whole city can’t help but stop and stare every time I move.

When I walk down the streets, my footsteps shake the ground beneath them, and people scatter to the sides, looking up in awe, like they can’t believe what they’re seeing. I watch them, tiny and stunned, their heads craning up to take in every inch of me. The feeling is intoxicating. I’ve gone from being just another face in the crowd to something they can only look up to—something beyond them.

At first, I thought they might be afraid, but it didn’t take long to realize they weren’t just fascinated. They were devoted. Every morning, people gather at my feet, some just to watch, others to leave flowers, gifts, even little notes. They treat me like I’m a goddess who has stepped into their world, something too powerful and beautiful to ignore. And, honestly? I can feel it too. I am so much more now.

They’ve even started making room for me. They cleared an open space downtown where I can stand or sit among them. Every time I lower myself to the ground, the crowds press closer, gazing up, some whispering, some even kneeling. They look at me with a kind of reverence I’ve never known, and it’s as if they’re silently asking for my blessing, hoping just to be close to me.

In these moments, I feel the power of my new size fully. I feel like a goddess, towering over them, watching their tiny faces filled with awe. They’re mine now, all of them. And every time I look down and see their eyes fixed on me, I know there’s no going back.
