I duck through the doorway into the living room, the frame creaking slightly as my shoulders brush the top. This house—it feels smaller every day, like it’s shrinking while I keep growing. The couch groans under my weight as I sit, my legs stretching so far that they nearly push against the coffee table. I glance at you, sitting across from me, trying to act like you don’t notice the tension in the air. But I’ve seen the way you look at me lately—like you’re still trying to process just how much bigger I’ve become. How much bigger I’m still getting.

I tilt my head, watching you fidget. “Babe,” I say, leaning forward slightly, my elbows resting on my knees. “We need to talk.”

You nod hesitantly, like you already know where this is going. “This house,” I say, gesturing around, “it doesn’t work for me anymore. Look at me. Do you think I can keep ducking through doorways, squeezing onto furniture made for someone half my size? I need bigger. Higher ceilings, custom furniture, a bed that actually fits me. And let’s be honest, none of that comes cheap.”

You blink, your jaw tightening slightly, but I don’t let you respond. “I need you to start making more money,” I say bluntly, my tone firm but not unkind. “Because if you can’t give me what I need, what I deserve, I’m going to have to find someone who can.”

Your eyes widen, a flicker of shock crossing your face, and I lean back, my massive arms crossing over my chest. “Look, I love you,” I continue, my voice softening just a little. “But let’s be real. I’ve outgrown this life. I’ve outgrown you. And if you want to keep up, you’re going to have to step up.”

I pause, letting the weight of my words sink in. I can see you struggling to find something to say, but nothing comes out. I sigh, standing up, the room seeming to shrink as I tower over you. I walk toward you slowly, and you shrink back just slightly, but I reach down, grab you gently by the armpits, and lift you like you weigh nothing. Your legs dangle as I pull you close, my strength completely engulfing you.

I smirk, leaning in as your breath hitches. “You’re so small now,” I murmur, my lips brushing against yours. “Do you even realize how insignificant you feel in my hands?” Before you can answer, I kiss you—slow, deliberate, my power wrapping around you as I hold you effortlessly in the air. When I pull back, I keep you close, my eyes locking with yours. “But if you step up, if you give me what I need, I’ll make it worth your while.”

I lower you to the floor gently, my hands still resting on your shoulders as I straighten back up, towering over you again. “I want you to be the one who gives me the life I deserve,” I say, my voice soft but full of command. “But if you can’t…” I trail off, letting the words hang in the air. You don’t need me to finish—you know exactly what I mean.

“So, what’s it going to be?” I ask, taking a step back and crossing my arms, my muscles flexing with the motion. “Are you going to step up, or do I need to start looking for someone who can?”

Your face is a mixture of determination and nervousness, and I smirk again, turning toward the door. “Think about it,” I say, glancing over my shoulder. “Because I’m not waiting forever. But if you do step up? I promise I’ll make it worth every second.” With that, I walk out, the sound of my steps echoing in the small room, leaving you with the weight of the challenge I’ve just laid down.
