Bigger Than You (Patreon)

It started as a quick favor. I had an important meeting to attend, but my laundry situation was a disaster. No clean blouses, no time to do anything about it. I poked my head into my boyfriend’s closet, spotting his crisp white dress shirt hanging neatly on a hanger. It was perfect—classic, simple, and oversized enough that I figured it would work for the day.
I grabbed it, slipped it on, and started buttoning it up. That’s when I noticed the fit wasn’t what I expected. The fabric clung tightly around my chest, the buttons straining against the curve of my body. The sleeves barely reached my wrists, and the seams along the shoulders were… snug. I stepped in front of the mirror, pulling at the hem to smooth it out, but there was no denying it.
This shirt wasn’t oversized—it was undersized. On me, at least.
“Babe?” I called out, stepping into the living room. “What’s up with this shirt? Did it shrink in the wash or something?”
He looked up from his laptop, and the second he saw me, his expression shifted. His eyes widened, his mouth opened slightly, but no words came out.
“That’s… that’s my dress shirt,” he finally managed to say.
“Yeah, I know,” I said, frowning. “But it doesn’t fit me. Look at this!” I gestured toward my chest, where the buttons looked like they were holding on for dear life. “Did you buy the wrong size?”
“No,” he said, still staring. “It’s not the shirt. It’s… you.”
I raised an eyebrow. “Me?”
He nodded slowly, his gaze drifting over my shoulders, my arms, my chest. “You’re, uh… bigger.”
I glanced at myself in the mirror again, taking a second look. He wasn’t wrong. The shirt fit him perfectly, but on me, it looked like it was a size too small. The seams were visibly stretched, the fabric taut over the swell of my muscles. I gave an experimental shrug, and the threads along the shoulders groaned in protest.
“Huh,” I said, a small smile tugging at my lips. “I guess I am bigger than you now.”
He didn’t respond, just kept staring, and something about his expression made me pause. He looked… intimidated. I took a step closer, watching as he instinctively leaned back. That little movement sent a thrill through me. I’d noticed the changes in myself, of course—the hours in the gym, the gains in strength, the way my clothes fit differently—but seeing his reaction brought it all into focus. I wasn’t just bigger. I was stronger. More powerful. And he knew it.
“Stand up,” I said, my tone sharper than I intended.
“What?” he asked, blinking up at me.
“I said stand up,” I repeated, crossing my arms. The motion caused the seams of the shirt to tear slightly at the shoulders, but I didn’t care. He hesitated for a moment, then slowly got to his feet.
The difference was striking. I towered over him now, my broad shoulders dwarfing his frame. I flexed my arms slightly, just enough to make the tight sleeves strain even more, and watched as his eyes darted to the fabric.
“Look at you,” I said, stepping closer. “So small. So… fragile.”
“Hey, come on,” he said nervously, trying to laugh it off. “You’re not that much—”
“Quiet,” I interrupted, my voice low and commanding. He froze, his mouth snapping shut, and the thrill I felt earlier surged again. This was new territory, and I liked it.
“You see this shirt?” I asked, plucking at the collar. “It’s yours, but it doesn’t belong on you anymore. It doesn’t even fit me anymore.”
With that, I flexed my shoulders fully, and the shirt gave way with a loud rip, the seams splitting open to reveal my bare skin beneath. Buttons popped off, scattering across the floor. I stood there for a moment, letting him take in the sight of me—muscles rippling, confidence radiating from every inch of my body.
“From now on,” I said, stepping even closer until we were inches apart, “things are going to be different around here. Got it?”
He nodded quickly, his eyes wide, but I wasn’t done. “You’re going to listen to me. Do what I say. No more arguments, no more excuses. I’m in charge now.”
“Y-Yes,” he stammered, barely audible.
“Yes, what?” I demanded, tilting my head.
“Yes… ma’am,” he said, his voice trembling.
A slow smile spread across my face. “Good boy.”
I placed a hand on his shoulder, the weight of it making him flinch slightly, and leaned in close. “Now,” I said softly, “go make me breakfast. I’ve got big plans today, and you’re going to help me make them happen.”
As he scurried off to the kitchen, I turned back to the mirror, admiring my reflection. Bigger, stronger, more powerful than ever. I’d outgrown his shirt, and now I’d outgrown him. And I had no intention of stopping anytime soon.
