Hi again…

I had a moment today. One of those… I can’t believe I just did that moments.

There’s this new guy at the gym. Loud. Arrogant. The kind of guy who thinks muscles are only for men. He kept talking—just within earshot—about how girls like me “try too hard,” how “it’s not natural.” The old me would’ve looked away. Pretended not to hear.

But I didn’t. I walked up to him—calm, smiling—and asked if he wanted to work in. He laughed.

Then I loaded up six plates for deadlifts.

And I lifted it. Clean. Controlled. More than once.

He couldn’t budge it.

And suddenly, the gym was silent. I looked up, and there were people watching. Recording. Cheering. I didn’t flinch. I stood tall, wiped the sweat from my brow, and smiled.

That was the moment I realized… I’m not hiding anymore. I don’t have to.

I’ve worked for this body. For this strength. And I don’t just deserve the space I take up—I own it.
