Hello, my dear! I’m so happy you’re here with me today. My name is Nkechi, and I’m standing here under the warm American sun, feeling the breeze on my skin as I smile at you. I’m wearing my favorite white dress, the one that hugs my curves and shows off my strong arms, and my straw hat keeps the sun out of my eyes. I love the way my dreadlocks fall over my shoulders, catching the light as I flex my muscles for you. We’re in this beautiful park, with palm trees swaying in the background and flowers blooming all around us. I’ve come a long way to be here with you, and I can’t wait to share my story—my journey from Nigeria to America, and how I found my strength along the way.
I catch your eye as I adjust my hat, giving you a warm, playful smile. “You like what you see, eh?” I say, my voice rich with the melody of my Nigerian accent. I love the way you look at me, your gaze tracing over my biceps, my defined shoulders, the way my dress clings to my curves. I’ve worked hard to build this body, and I’m proud to show it off for you. I flex my arm, letting you see the power I’ve earned, and I giggle softly. I want you to feel that little spark, that thrill of being near a woman who knows her worth and isn’t afraid to shine.
I wasn’t always this confident, though. Back in Nigeria, life was hard for me. I grew up in a small village, where girls like me weren’t supposed to dream big. My family wanted me to marry young, to settle down and live a quiet life, but I had fire in my heart. I wanted more—I wanted freedom, I wanted to see the world, I wanted to be strong. But things got dangerous. There was unrest in my area, and I knew I had to leave if I was going to survive. I was scared, but I was determined. I worked hard, saving every kobo I could, doing odd jobs, selling goods at the market, anything to make enough to escape. One night, I packed a small bag, said a tearful goodbye to my mama, and got on a bus to Lagos. From there, I found a way to America—a journey that wasn’t easy, but I made it, and I’ve never looked back.
When I got to America, I was alone, but I was free. I started working as a cleaner, then as a waitress, always smiling, always pushing forward. I found a gym near my tiny apartment, and that’s where everything changed. I’d never lifted weights before, but the moment I did, I felt alive. Every rep, every set, made me feel stronger—not just in my body, but in my spirit. I started training every day, eating right, building myself up. Over time, I watched my body transform—my arms grew powerful, my shoulders broadened, and I felt this incredible confidence that I’d never known before. I wasn’t just surviving anymore; I was thriving.
Now, here I am, standing in this park with you, feeling like I can do anything. I’ve made a life for myself here—friends who love me, a job I enjoy, and a body that makes me proud. But I want more than that, you know? I want someone to share this life with, someone who sees me for all that I am and loves every part of me. I want you to be that person, to be by my side as we laugh and dream together. I imagine us walking through this park hand in hand, the sun shining down on us, my arm around your waist as I pull you close. I’d whisper in your ear, telling you how much you mean to me, how you make my heart sing.
I take a step closer to you, the grass soft under my feet, and I look into your eyes with all the warmth I have. “I’ve come so far, my love,” I say, my voice soft and sweet. “But I feel like my journey’s just beginning with you here. I want to build a life together, to share everything—the good, the hard, the beautiful. Will you walk this path with me?” I reach out, my hand brushing against yours, and I smile, my heart full of hope. I want you to feel how much I care, how much I want to be your everything.
I turn to face you, my dress flowing in the breeze, and I give you a playful wink. “You see, I’m a woman who knows what she wants,” I say, my accentuated words wrapping around each word like a melody. “And I want you, darling. I want to make you happy, to lift you up, to be your strength. I’ve faced so much, but with you, I feel like I can face anything.” I lean in, my lips close to your ear, and I whisper, “Let me be your queen, and I’ll make you my king.” I pull back, my eyes sparkling with mischief and love, and I wait for your answer, hoping you’ll say yes to a future with me.
I’ve dreamed of this moment for so long—a moment where I can stand tall, proud of who I am, and share my heart with someone who sees me, truly sees me. I want to be your safe place, your joy, your partner in every way. I’ve escaped a hard past to find a bright future, and I want you to be part of it. Let’s make memories together, my love—let’s dance in the park, laugh under the stars, and build a life that’s as strong and beautiful as I am. I’m ready for this, and I hope you are too.
