Universal rhythms are truly the key to making you dance. It's so simple and intuitive why these rhythms feel good, yet hard to explain exactly why this phenomenon works, and transcends all cultures of the world. I like to think there's something very beautiful and naturalistic about their imperfect symmetry, something that feels very human. What I know for sure is that they appear in all genres of music since the beginning of time, and that's enough evidence for me. In this vid I show some ays to play melodically and harmonically while playing with these rhythmic groupings. It's kinda like playing Push like a drum, but with notes and chords!
